The Family Stone

Wow, has anyone had the immence pleasure to watch this movie?
I just came back from a screening and holy cow this movie made my top ten.

The start was intriuging, the middle was a laugh riot (Imagine a fifteen yearr old in a theater with old people laughing like crazy, with them joining along too!) and the ending was exceptional.

The only thing that left me in a "whoa, what the heck?" state was:
When the male lead runs all the way to the bus only to get a "What are you doing for new years?" question from the lead female's sister, who he fell in love with
All in all, exceptional movie, 9.5 out of 10.

Thoughts?

...you just have to outrun the halfling.

I really enjoyed the film. What a great family Christmas movie!
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.
