Nice review rocklobster! The only thing is that the language might be a little much for a ten year old. There are quite a few da** and sh** if I remeber correctly in the first book. Anyway, its up to you I was just voicing my opinion :D

I made a mistake. There should be 10 volumes instead of 8. I was going with what my cousin had told me and she let me read all the volumes she had so far.

I'm kind of gravedigging here, but I do have something new to add. I found out that as of January 2 of this year, Cyborg 009 (along with quite a few others, the link is http://www.tokyopop.com/oop/ if you are interested)is now out of print. I'm kind of disappointed in Tokyopop for doing this, as I was quite interested in buying these myself. I'd only read them for my review, and wound up enjoying the series.
