Not too bad, worse than airsoft... It's kinda like getting flicked in the ear by someone who knows how to do it. If it hits the bone, it can be really bad, but otherwise, it's not really that bad. It's enough to make you not want to get hit, but it's not enough to make you cry.

Yeah, like Rashiir said, it's not too bad, but range does play a factor, the closer you are, the more it hurts.

Let's just say that my friend got hit in the leg in his knew-cap and messed up his leg for about 6 months.

Yah, it definitely hurts a lot if it hits a bone andor a joint, especially from up close.

That's why you wear a neck gaurd. Wear a hat to cover the back of your head, put something around your neck, wear pants and a jacket (cammies work best). That will make things easier for you.

First time I went paintballing I basically went in jeans and a shirt; nothing else. I got shot in the neck and it knocked the wind out of me.
The best place to get hit is right in the face. You don't feel anything due to the facemask, though it scares the crap out of you. (NEVER take off your facemask during combat!)

Be sneaky, be brave, have fun.

Depends on the range, velocity, where it hits, and if the round breaks or not.

If the range is 3 feet, the velocity 400, you get it in the crotch, and it doesn't break, you're in a world of hurt.

But that doesn't happen much. The terrain hurts you more usually. You throw yourself around trying to avoid a round in the face. It's great. :thumb:

P.S. WEAR A CUP.

I'm sure getting hit in the neck hurts, but nothing sucks as much as getting the good news 'twixed the legs. Again, WEAR A CUP.

I've got a very reliable Stingray II. I just need a new barrel and I'm set. I've heard Tippman's are great.

the only thing better than tippman in an angel gun and they start at $500 and up, i could make my tippman look just like an m16 rifle with the addons for it. :D

I bet you can. Those angel markers cost a bloody arm and a leg. I like my Stingray. Is your Tippman hard to fieldstrip?

I played once a few years ago. It was pretty fun, but I don't know if I would invest in a gun and equipment. I didn't really know what I was doing, and my mask fogged up a lot, so I got out pretty fast. :red:

It stings a little when you get hit, but that's about it. I had more problems with mosquitos personally.

I should probably stop typing before I give in a go buy a paintball gun. :shake:

Yeah I've only played once...But it was really fun. I only got hit once also. It hurt but not as bad as I thought it was going to. It hurt for about a minute but then I was fine.

My first time pantballing

Postby DragonSlayer » Sun Nov 30, 2003 12:49 am

Were in a forest. there six us us. 3 on each side. Im hiding behind a fairly thick tree. quite, I take a look out and spot one of them vaugly behind a log and a some branches. I take my gun out to aim I shoot a few times but miss. Peek over one last time, im sure they dont know im there yet so I take my time and aim. When the one im aiming at, has a shooting nois coming from him, And dont even realize the pain to come as a paintball hurls towards me. SPLAT!!! Right in beetween my eyes where the goggles arch a paintball takes me. I scream out "HIT!!!!!" in pain of the first hit.

That was my first tme being hit. after that my brother pointed a paintball gun at me and told me to run. so I ran. bu the ball never hit. andy way yea that hurt. I've played several times since then and im used to it now, the first few times it stings and you cant help but think how bad it is but you get used to it after a while.
