Eh, shareware and demos, on a site that looks like it was made in the 90s and has theme songs as background music. What part of it are you looking to gauge?

Looks a might tad like warez to me. Duke Nukem, Diablo, Mortal Kombat, Quake, Need for speed III... Looks illegal bro...
Even if you got games on there that weren't (C)d, you'd have to ask yourself, 'how safe are these downloads going to be, coming from a site with illegal games?'

They're not illegal, they're demos and shareware. They're old demos and shareware.
I don't think that we can give you a definite yes or no about its safety, but I have to kind of wonder what you're looking to download from there. It looks like it's just old demos and shareware - not even anything recent. You could probably pick up the full versions of most of those programs for $5-10 on the bargain racks.
