Yeah, I saw the end way back before I was really following the series, but I don't really remember how it ends up. And after watching it and knowing better what's going on, I definitely want to see it again.

How many people here think this is a show worth purchasing on DVD?

Well, since I've already bought four of them and plan to buy the rest next weekend, I think my opinion is obvious. ^_^ Definitely buy them! AngelSakura will probably say the same thing, since I know she has all the DVD's. It is uncut, though, which means more cursing, but if you can handle that, it's definitely worth having the entire series at you fingertips! Mwahahahahah!
It is the infirmity of little minds to be dazzled with everything that sparkles.

yeah, if i had the money (what can i say, i'm a bcs (broke college student)) i'd go out and buy the whole series because yes it is that good to spend the money on, although i'm ok with just taping what is shown on a/s 'cus i am such a penny pincher

I think I'll take the cheap route and tape 'em... Does that make me a second-class citizen?

I bought them, but it is one of the most expensive series out there. Look for the boxed set, and try to shop around for the best price.

<<Exactly what I wanted! Thanks for the link!>>
I beg of you, please please please sign my guestbook! Everyone says it's great, and then they leave without signing!

<<AngelSakura will probably say the same thing, since I know she has all the DVD's.>>
The girl is a mind-reader. Maybe she's related to Legato. Anyway, yes, DVDs are gooood.

<<I bought them, but it is one of the most expensive series out there.>>
Pioneer released another edition that cut ten bucks off the price. It's called the "Signature Series" edition. The first menu is screwed up, and the fourth one does some weird crap with the chapters when it's on Japanese, but as a whole, it's not a big deal.
Think happy thoughts.

It's good. Funny, too. Nothing really objectionable except for a few mild swears here and there and the drunken scenes (but I don't really count those because it doesn't glorify drinking... ).

Two things, though. One, Vash is a psycho. No offense, but...he laughs like a...like a...rabid hyena. o_O Two, why does Milly wear a tie? :eyebrow:
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I was getting a little bit worried at the show titles:

Peacemaker
Love and Peace

I don't want peace, man! I want crazy Trigun action!!!

Then I see the preview for #5, which has the title:

Hard Puncher.

Nice...

Ah - I have the first three dvds of Trigun, but I have only seen pieces of the series beyond this. It hasn't been going that long, maybe I can catch up this time around...

Yeah.

Joel, CN is airing episode 5 tonight at midnight, so you're very much in time to pick it back up if you're so inclined.

In my opinion, episode ten = BEST EPISODE EVER. "Quick Draw". Even is you don't watch the others, you must watch "Quick Draw".

Really? I'll be paying special attention.

Uh...a question? More of a statement, really:

Vash is a pervert.

C'mon, he's trying to look up a skirt in episode 4, he tries to bash in on a bathing lady in episode 3. (I think that's the number...) What's his problem?

Is it just a front or is he really a creep?

And do you like the manga or the anime better?
