Rurouni Kenshin poem

Postby churchgirl111 » Sun Oct 26, 2003 7:51 pm

this poem is Kenshin if he had recieved Christ...clearly shown in last stanza

Days past

Scar
everlasting reminder of days past
where the world was shrouded in blood
where it flowed down every street corner
every home

crimson red scar
a permanent mark
horror filled, without mercy
dawned a sword with ambition
exited a sword, dipped in red
hopes of peace
dubbed with destruction
Can there be reconciliation?

With this sword i pledge
Innocence shall no longer be the victim
by this scar i pledge
that no blood shall be spilt from my hands
It was already spilt enough on a cross
where one man bled enough to cover us all

When you find yourself in the company of a halfling and an ill-tempered
Dragon, remember, you do not have to outrun the Dragon...
...you just have to outrun the halfling.

That is nice... and i tell you Kenshin would have had a much better life if he did accept Christ. Samurai X: Reflections is just too sad... poor Kenny just couldn't do it on his own.

Yeah, I've always wondered what the show would be like if he had recieved Christ. No matter how many people he protects to make up for his past, on Jesus can truly wash away sins.

*cries* That was awesome! Short but sweet... I always felt terrible for Kenshin and how he carried his guilt everywhere.

Never thought of writing fanfiction poetry about a character accepting Christ before. I've written fanfiction poetry, as well as a poem of my own conversion, but never thought to do both at once (well, not mine but theirs)...
