Bless pray for my hubby and calling-

Postby SailorX » Mon Sep 22, 2003 9:25 am

1rst-

My husband- It seems like the military has changed him. Before he joined the Air Force, he was sweet, caring, tuned in to all my medical needs and pretty Spiritual. But now he's the oppisite! he still can be sweet and caring, but only when it's convient. I have health problems that keep me from doing my housework alot and If the house isn't done, He will tell me repeatively how mad at me he is. He used to care about my health problems, But when I'm in pain, he ignores the fact and still tells me to cook dinner or do dishes. If I tell him to do it, he gets made and since I hate fights, I always cave in but more then that...

I really need prayers for his Spiritual life! He is falling away rapidly. He won't fllow Satan or cults or anything, but now he won't even drive me to church. I can't drive cause of my health.

Also I have a calling that involves going over to Japan for a while. Naturally I want him to come with but ge sees what I'm doing a unnessisary, but that brings me to my next prayer.

God has given me a calling to be a missionary in Japan. This won't actually take place for a few years but please pray for strength, letting learn the lanuage fast and iffeicent and that my husband by then will be spiritually old enough to want to come with me.

Please also pray for my health. I have a very rare type of Epilepsy. My meds have kept me from having majore seizures, but I still have partial, also my medication causes pains, clumbsiness, and alot more.

I take Lamictal for those who are curious.

Thank you all and God Bless!

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Have you ever tried anything like Keppra? It might have less side effects for you, although I don't know what your neurologist has in mind.

I definitely pray that God will clarify His timing and His voice in your calling, and in your relationship as well!

Bless your heart, and I'll pray for both of you!
