Thank you, THANK YOU!!!!! I checked this thread in a fit of desperation and found that two wonderful people had taken up the banner. I love you both!

I needed a pick-me-up after the movie I saw last night suckerpunched me. Hard.
Thank you guys for making me believe in humanity again, particularly the creative ones.

Siarra, I don't know what it is about you, but whatever it is, it's something I appreciate. You're a fantastic person and I hope you are aware of that.

Years ago, I took up the mantle of keeping this thread alive, yet even I started to lax quite heavily. But you have diligently stepped up and I'm so proud of faithful women like you who endever to bring sunshine into the lives of others.
And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.

You have given me a metaphorical blue sky when Morning sickness had clouded over my day. Thank you for making me smile and want to do more with my day. Everywhere you post, you make others smile, or think, and that is a very good thing, Furen.

I just wanted to say that, by virtue of having a mom and dad at some point, you are all human beings and not clones. Therefore, you are all created in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, you are all awesome Magnum Opuses. Let the world chew on that the next time it implies that you are not good enough.

This thread will not die. I refuse to let it. Therefore, I will tell you this amazing thing that happened to me and hope it inspires you as well.
This last week, I got to vacation in Utah with my extended family, and one thing we did was go to Zion National Park. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, and one with some of the most Christian influences. The peaks and formations had names like Angel's Landing, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Great White Throne, you get the idea. So if you ever get overwhelmed by how aweful the world seems, or how life seems to such, go find some natural beauty and know that There Is A God.

Every day, I walk around my neighborhood singing that song. So far, you are the only person to reply to it, Claec.
Summer is a time to enjoy what sunshine you have, the kids running around in your neighborhood, and tell the people around you that you want to spend more time with them. Also, it is a time for me to say that this community is deeply loved and I wish I had more time to spend here.

The chat opens up after a certain amount of activity. Obviously we don't say how much, but it's not a large number.

Technically, though we haven't had many people in it as of late. Most of us are talking on Discord, but I know most of us still love the forum and want people to talk here more again.

Anyway, Sierra, thank you so much for keeping this thread alive. I've loved this thread more than any other thread on CAA, and I would be so saddened to see it die. You're a dedicated woman who has been faithful to something like this thread. I could only imagine how dedicated you are to your family and loved ones. Truly someone of great honour in my books.
And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.

Oh stop it, you'll make me blush (even though that is the de facto reason for this chat, to make others blush with compliments).
You make me laugh Furen, and feel appreciated when it seems like I run around all day doing things for others, I can come here and get that small pat on the back from you. Thanks!

I do it, quite simply, because you bring joy to others. It is a rare trait in people who have a genuine interest for others, and it's a great blessing to receive that from the many people who post here; especially you, with your dedication to leave nobody behind.

Not a problem. I'll send you a PM.

Diogo, I thank you for being an active presence on this forum. I love this forum but haven't been on it much recently. I'm trying to be a bit more active on making it a more frequent activity. It was one of the best times in my life back then. You've reminded me of the really cool things I saw when I first started visiting. Thanks for joining us!

Edit: By the way.... 3500 posts! Rock on guys.

It's pouring rain outside, but that just means the grass will be greener, the trees taller, and the world more beautiful when the sun does come out. So hardships water us all so in good times, we can shine ever brighter!
