BFs parents hate me

BFs parents hate me

I don't usually post in the prayer thread because I am the type of person who feels like they can handle life for the most part. But this is an issue that really hurts. My bf and I broke up and got back together. His parents liked me at first and they were fine with me and then I broke up with my bf for a couple of months because of insecurities which were really painful to face and deal with but I did and I am a better person for it. But now they hate and despise me for no reason that I can really tell. It is really insane, but such is life I suppose. I can deal with people hating me if I know there reason for it, but there is no rhyme or reason behind this hate.

Learn to deal with it. My parents and husband pretty much just tolerate each other. Does it bug me? Absolutely. Have I tried to figure it out and make things better? Oh so many times. Is it worth it? Not if I want to live stressed out for the rest of my life.

In short, you may not know the reason so just roll with the punches. They don't HAVE to like you.

thanks for all the support. and Kay what you said makes total sense i actually came to that realization this morning when my mom started hating on my bf the same way his dad hates me. I swear if they were given a common enemy and some super weapons they would be a scary force to be reckoned with XD lol.
