i dont know if this is in the wrong place, but i just wanted to know what AMV's, PV's RPG's and RP's are?? i see them all over the place.

An AMV is an anime music video and RP is roleplay. RPG is roleplaying game I think, not sure about PV. Hopefully I understood that question right. If not then sorry, my brain is kinda dead. Got a cold again. :D

Since the others have already been answered, I'll try to shed some light on PV. Depending on the context, this can either refer to Page Views (as for a thread) or Promotional Video (for anime or any other visual entertainment) or Predictor Variable (in statistics).

Maybe a sticky thread with commonly used acronyms would be a useful tool for new members? Similar to the FAQs thread, but specifically for acronyms.
