I do and I don't, As a whole metalcore has grown very stale. I really depends on the band. Oh, Sleeper and ABR are two bands that are awesome. Granted they tend to slant more toward progressive.

SIDE NOTE: couldn't this have just been put under the metal thread that you yourself started? Its not to far down seems a bit unnessacry to start a new thread

I voted "Kinda" as I used to be into it but not anymore. Bands like Underoath, the Chariot, Norma Jean, and Since October are some of the ones I'm familiar with, but I just don't care for the style of music anymore.

The only one I've really heard has been For Today and I really like their stuff.

Devastator is probably my favorite of theirs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gJHf95Iz4k

Yes good stuff. Bands like ABR, For Today, Underoath, Inhale Exhale, The Devil Wears Prada, Haste the Day, Mychildren Mybride, War of the Ages are all of the "Christian" metalcore bands I listen too. Then theres bands like Attack Attack!, Our Last Night and Of Mice and Men who all have some Christian members and have lyrics non-offensive to Christianity but aren't necessarily a Christian band.

I guess it's okay. It's kind of awkward for me when I hear somebody praise God with a shriek in their voice, but I can get past it.

I'd have to say my favorite Christian metal band is Living Sacrifice, though they stated in their album Reborn (1997/2004) that they do not call themselves Christian. They do make scriptural references in their songs, however.
