i'm not really sure if i'll be able to stand Ricky, but i guess i'll have to try. Ruman thought. She knew the song, and started singing along with Amai

Amai finished the song, then said, "How's that?"

BIC: "GREAT! Thanks!" said Amai. She was mentally turning somersaults with joy. And here I thought that I wouldn't be able to make friends! she thought to herself.

The wheels of the dark Jaguar came to a swirling hault in the gravel drive in front of the grand, extensive estate. The car shut off, and from the interior emerged a confident female figure donning high boots and tight leather coat. She adjusted the sunglasses on her nose when two large men in suits came up to her.

"Ms. Copeland?"

"The same", the woman responded with some sarcasm in her voice.

"Very good. The mistress of the house has been waiting for you."

The two men and Ms. Copeland then entered the palace-like abode and into a series of grand hallways with vaulted ceilings and fine art adornments until coming to a set of large doors leading to a small study. Inside, a meek-looking young woman sat aloof in front of her music stand; the bow in her limp hand as she starred off into space.

"Eriko-sama, your guest has arrived."

The girl was broken from her trance, and smiled warmly at the older woman who walked away from the two guards, throwing herself on the sofa near her.

"Thank you. That will be all."

The two nodded and shut the doors behind them.

"Eriko....even though I said you could call me for anything....I was not really expecting you to call about something like this."

"Oh, I know Sensei. But when I saw the flyer at the church the cook attends, I was intrigued....and....and...I..."

"It's no fun to go to a concert alone, is it?"

The girl shook her head and was silent.

"Well, if we are going to a rock concert, we need to get going. Doesn't it start soon?"

"Hai! Umm...yes ma'am......"

"It's just Robyn when we are like this, hon. You're father and I were good friends, after all, so drop the formalities."

"Oh...okay...I'll have Tanaka-san get the car."

Eriko then picked up the phone and dialed a extension of the house, muttering in soft Japanese. In moments, the two men had returned to escort them out. When outside, Robyn's car had been replaced by a polished four-door limo.

"This way, please, the driver said as he helped them into the car before speeding off.

ooc: I'm going to assume they haven't arrived yet, Soran.
Calvin went over to his keyboard. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I found some sheet music online for a song for us to practice. Now that we have a female singer, maybe we can make it more authentic." He handed a copy to Ambrose first.
Then he walked over to Amai. "Care to give singing lead a try?"

"Sure!" said Amai, looking at the sheet music.

Calvin turned to Ruman. "Can you sing too? Maybe you can do backup." He fumbled in his pocket for his recorder. He thought of using it for this song, at least in the intro.

The sleek limo pulled to a quiet stop in front of the welcoming church. It was still early, but Eriko's wonder was breaking her manners. She stepped out followed by Robyn and entered the building as the car pulled away. They followed the music until finding the main room where the band was rehearsing. Trying not to interrupt, they quietly snuck in and found occupancy at in the dark towards the back pews.

What Eriko saw amazed her. The people on stage looked so cool and carefree and so wild! It fascinated her, and she suddenly felt out-of-place. Perhaps her face could be read in the dark, because a gentle hand patted her back. She looked up and smiled at her teacher before turning her attention back to the group.

Robyn was more speculating; she eyed the group and gathered an assumption of their possible talents. It was probably there. She leaned back, waiting to be impressed.

Calvin counted backwards from 4. When he got to one, the band was supposed to start.

Ambrose gave the sheet music he had been given to Larissa and Kamari. and then they waited for the group leader to tell them what to do....

Amai quickly looked at the sheet music. A very beautiful song...... she thought.

"Sure!" She looked at the sheet music. Such beautiful music for rock.... she thought.

Ricky sighed as he skimmed through the music Cal had given him. Beat's pretty lame, signature's boring 4/4s, and what's up with the lyrics? he thought as he set them up on his stand. It's...kinda girly. Cal didn't write this, did he? He glanced over at Cal as he gave the signal to start the song. "...Two, three, four," he said, tapping on a cymbal to get things rolling.

Amai started playing her guitar.

Calvin played his recorder for the first few measures. He liked Pat Benatar, (that's who we're playing, btw), and thought that now that they have a good female lead, it'd sound more authentic.

Amai started singing, and let the passion fill her.

OOC: I am going to have to drop out of this RPG I got too many things going on in my life right now

ooc: I think I'll take over for your characters, Wind.
Ambrose played the final chord and said to Amai, "I think if we need a female singer, maybe you should do it."
ooc: Sam, could you have your character object? Oh, and Soran, now would be a great time for your characters to make themselves known to the band.

"Thanks." said Amai happily.

"I'm a good singer too. It's not like Amai's the only female singer here. She's playing guitar anyway," said Ruman, bitterly.

OOC. Ruman has self-confidence issues btw. that's the reason for the "bitterly"

Robyn huffed and sloutched further back into the pew. Great. Typical band, or so it as looking like. Yes, it started with a good note, but this singer confusion was too frustrating.

"You....you both could play", interjected Eriko with her sheepish voice.

Roybn was somewhat surprised when the small figure stood up from the safe fort of the shadows and made her way down the aisle. She looked so out-of-place for a rock concert but suiting for the church with her large frock and somber black dress that ruffled as she sat in the third pew.

"You....you...both sing very well.....why not duet?"

"Hm, I didn't think mom's ad would attract the upper-crust crowd." said Calvin, noticing the two women. "Are either of you here for the ad?"

Amai lookedat the two obviousely rich woman. They would THEY be interested in a rock band? They look more suited for an opra. she thought.

occ: Sorry about the confusion about location.....watashi wa baka desu yo.

Robyn said nothing in response, but instead took a small notepad from her pocket to jott down notes.

Eriko was a bit more bold, although she could feel herself tremble in nervousness.

"I...I...ano....ano....I....saw the add from one of my housekeepers.....and...I....I wanted to see what a rock band sounded like.", she said with sheer modesty and truth.

She clinched her hands tightly together, and looked down at the floor.

"My...my name is Eriko. I am so sorry if I bothered you! I told my music teacher about you....that's her in the back....Ms. Robyn Copeland....and I...I didn't mean to bother you."

ooc: Robyn is supposed to be a famous music talent and recruit....so....

Ruman gasped. Robyn was her inspiration. Because of her, she had had music lessons. and now she was in the same room as the person she truly admired.

She tried not to show it though.
