Lyger's must be Trogdor the Burninator! (I know it isn't anime, but it's all I can think of. ) Aka-chan's could be Sailor Moon, but I'm not sure.

I refuse to believe that no one has seen this anime...you can rent it from blockbuster....one of the main characters is is leader of a rebellion group, knights are in this anime! i hope some one can guess it now or i have lost all hope...
