Hmmm, male characters...
1. Daisuke Niwa - D.N.Angel and Syaoran Li - Cardcaptor Sakura/Tsubasa Chronicle (tie)
2. Fay D. Flowrite - Tsubasa Chronicle
3. Kenshin Himura - Rurouni Kenshin
Favorite Female Characters
Okay... So I don't think I really have three favorite female characters. Not trying to sound sexist or anything, it's just that usually female characters aren't as developed as male characters. Most of them are either like "hi, I'm female and I'm obsessed with a guy and get jealous when I see him with another girl and don't insult my cooking or I'll hit you with a bucket of rice" OR "hi, I'm female, so don't mess with me because I'm hardcore". A few characters (both male and female) like that are fine, but I prefer believable characters of both genders for the most part, ya know?
Well, there are two female characters that would go in my top ten all together.

2. Henrietta from Gunslinger Girl --she's so cute with her Amati violin case
