well this is my first poem in here...i think lol id ont remember but anyways i hope you guys like it and yeah. i made it in like out of my head i dont do out lines so its more about meaning and stuff i guess so yeah and bottom is to some of my work i guess lol

was i wrong?

am i so wrong to belive that i matter to you

each day hoping and beliving that i might be held by you,

waiting for that precious moment to feel your lips

that moment that never came to be and never will be,

hoping that you would notice how i feel about you

looking at the rising moon in the night thinking about you,

waiting for you let me in your heart even if it means my life

wishing that i was your happyness your joy your hope,

willling to die to go to the ends of the earth if it meant your happyness

wanting to share with you my life my days my nights,

opening my very being for you hoping that you would come in

even in death will my heart hold on to you for that wish for that hope,

never wanting to loose you and yet i never really had you

not even for that moment where i met you,

was i so wrong to belive that love would be for

was i wrong to belive that i would have your love.

Thanks for posting!

I liked your description of love; more specifically, showing willingness to sacrifice oneself makes it less shallow.

I also liked the premise of the poem in that it is a question in which the speaker analyzes their emotions and whatnot.

I hope you post some more. :)

[i]Two vast and trunk-less legs of stone stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, half sunk, a shattered visage lies. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare the lone and level sands stretch far away. On the pedestal these words are inscribed:

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€
