Hehe, it worked!^^

But whoa, yeaaah... due to the scare of Blue Screens of Death, I'm kinda shying away from this^^ They should call it "Microsoft Money" (yes, I'm well aware a program of that exists): insert disk, get a crashed comp and loose all your prized pixalated possession on it, all to go back an purchause a new computer, complete with Windows!^^

No honestly, is Microsoft trying to get the competetors win against them?

I won't be upgrading to a new version of Windows until my laptop (windows XP) keels over on me; since, come to find out, AutoCAD 2006 won't currently run in Vista. A friend in my program just bought a new laptop, and had to downgrade since Vista wouldn't run AutoCAD. I have to run Windows since some of the programs I need for architecture won't run on Macs - much to the architecture community's dismay.

No, especially not until Microsoft works out the bugs. Sure it may work on a happy standard PC from Compaq or Dell, but what about a custom comp? Plus I hear that the creator of Inverloch is having problems with it already :(...

After reading up on Vista, I'm getting a Mac attack.

Thank goodness I'm a console gamer.

Go to crystalxp.net and there's stuff there to make your XP instsall look just like Vista. Only the Ultimate version would do what I need it to do, so no Vista for me. :p

That's pretty much exactly how I feel, only with Linux instead of Mac, haha... No, but seriously, my hate for Apple is getting less and less, and my hate for MS may soon overtake my hate for Apple... I may go Mac eventually. I'm sure Adobe will be back on Mac completely by that point, so that settles that. Unless there is some darn good video and image editing and compositing programs on Linux by then.
