I know he was joking, but I'm not joking. I have talk to someone at AWA and they thought this would be a good idea.

Just, when the info will be pass on is another story.

AWA? Thats the name of an old Wrestling Organization. Jerry Lawler use to be the Champion there.

All kidding aside, who did you talk to? and why did they think that such a nutty idea would work?

So what's your plan of attack?Do you have an idea of how you're going to go about asking?Or will you wait to see if they have a Sunday chapel and see who shows up?

I just found out about a possible Christian voice actor--from Japan!

Someone on ANN said he read in Toshio Furukawa's Wikipedia entry that he was a Christian, and asked if it was true. I doubted it, but I searched for his name on Yahoo and found what I think is his home page: http://www.topio.jp/
If you go to 'private', there's a section with pictures of his family and home. Among the pictures are things like a Christmas tree, a crucifix, a stained glass decoration with a cross on it, a nativity scene and--what I think is the most interesting--a picture of him in front of what looks like a church.

I also ran his profile through a free online translator. It was mostly gibberish, of course, but among the jumble of letters was the words "favorite book Bible". It looks like he actually might be a Christian--hard to say for sure without being fluent in Japanese, though.

I know both of these people have been mentioned before, but I thought it was worth pointing out that Caitlin Glass ran a devotional service with readings from the Psalms on Sunday morning at Ohayocon last weekend. She does it with Vic M at cons they both attend. I thought that was pretty cool, wish I'd attended, but when I saw it on the schedule I thought it had to be some sort of "trick."

With the Japanese it's really hard to tell.Bibles,Crosses,Crufixes may or may not
be signs of Christian faith or it could be just part of the whole Western thing that
they have.

I'm sure it's possible. It's definately hard to believe, considering the low percentage of Japanese who are Christian, but that picture of him in front of a small church seemed...different, to me.

...Unless it was some sort of tourism thing.

Kendra Benham (Maya Ibuki), though 'm not sure they're still married--According to Amanda Winn Lee's LJ, they may be divorced.

...What exactly are you saying, here? That artistic people get divorced more easily than others? That's quite the over-generalization...:shady:

What I was referring to was the frequency of divorce among actors and other such types of people. The divorce rate among such people does tend to be a lot higher than among average population.Probably has to do with the temperment of most
actors.I.e.higher among actors who marry each other than actors who marry non-actors.

Actually,I was talking about her Sister-in-Law,Dorothy. who's married to the dude who voiced Agumon on digimon. Dorothy also plays Meryl on Trigun. Oh,and it's Melissa Fahn who played Rika.

Maybe he isn't certain. But didn't someone here say that Michael Dobson was a Christian?
I still think it would be fun if Naraku was voiced by a Christian, for some reason we seem to make the best villians.
