The twins don't really bother me at all. At first I was like, "Whoa, now hang on a m-- oh. It's facetious. Hah." I'm also positive they're just putting on a show for their customers.

Yeah X3 It helps that he's insanely guilible. He totally fell for all of their revenge plans.Myrrh-chan wrote:That alone proves that they are just playing, because they got REALLY mad at Tamaki when he called them that.
Dude! Seriously! The other Host Club guys are spoiled, but he puts them all to shame! He's a complete brat! I'm sorry Honey fans... but from a realistic standpoint, any seventeen year old that actaully acted like that is not correctly developed psycologically and needs to see a developmental psychologicist imo. Not. Even. Kidding. X3Ashley wrote:I did want to kill Honey-kun a few times

I could take the twins pretending to be overly affectionate in order to make the fangirls swoon, since it was obvious they were faking it as part of their role as hosts, but when Haruhi's dad waltzed in wearing a dress I was seriously perturbed.
Is he supposed to be a transvestite? And if so is it a psychological quirk or is he just an actor playing the role of a woman? I watched a really badly subtitled version and they didn't actually translate what they called him into English. I think they used a Chinese word - rensomethingorother. I'm thinking of not watching any more episodes because of him.
Fish and Chips wrote:Haruhi's dad's a weird one to watch, I'll grant you. If anything, he's still suffering from his late wife's death. When she died, he said he could never love another woman, so his habits took a turn for the stranger side. Not much is made of this past face-value humor, so I doubt there's any dark political or moral agenda on the creator's end.
