It would be interesting if someone were to compile stats on this (the information would easily be available to site administrators). Given how fast information gets around the internet I imagine they'll have enlistments flood in. Also, it only says that gets you an opportunity to participate in the beta. That could imply that only a percentage of those who enlist will actually see it.

I believe that's a given, actually. It's too high profile to give to everyone and their mother, even if it is in Beta. Imagine what people would do for an MGS4 beta... Well, ok, so the same thing they'd do for a Halo 3 beta.

I almost assumed as much, but I also considered that they would only select the first so many enlisters that meet the criteria. That would be equally effective to something like randomly selecting from those that sign up, unless they intend to test them in some way. Yojimbo, did anything happen after you signed up? You can keep us posted if something develops.

No nothing really happened just a "Thanks for participating" message and that was it no confirmation email or anything. I met all the criteria and all that but we'll see how at all. I don't expect an email for a couple months if one at all.
