Yatsume Mumyoi, from Rurouni Kenshin
My responses here either a) proves that the only shounen series I've read is Rurouni Kenshin, or b) proves that Watsuki is really good at drawing freaks. XD It's probably a mixture of the two...XD

ugly aniume characters
Men with two rings or circles to define their lips and mouths - fer'instance:
One Piece: Usopp
A certain secondary character in 'Initial D.' (I forgot its name.)
I also find most skanky, potty-mouthed, and promiscuous characters ugly. They're ugly in spirit, and that blends over and overwrites any visual aspects. I dislike Faye Valentine, the whole cast of 'Beck,' and the little twit girl in 'Ergo Proxy' - if they were real can't you just imagine what kind of diseases these charaters would carry? You'd want to be wearing a latex glove just to shake hands!

Yeah I can name a list of ugly characters, but of course some shows have the drawing style imply ugly for any character. Of course they are more because they're trying to be more cartoony.
