The manga has what I considered a bit more risque subject matter, especially toward the end when,
In a moment of Sana being depressed, Hayama and Sana talk about having sex with each other. This is particularly distressing considering they're in either 7th or 8th grade, I can't quite remember. However, Sana's mother catches them and puts a stop to that before having a serious talk with them.
Other than that, Kodocha has some mild language and there's talk of Sana referring to her agent as her "gigolo", but she doesn't really understand the meaning of the word and that stops after a scene where Sana's mother drops a ton of bricks on her after explaining a bit of truth to her about her agent. Um. If you're mature enough to handle the aforementioned, I think Kodocha is a great manga. I got a lot of laughs out of it, and I think it's in my top 10 favorite anime series. That's weird for me to admit considering it's such a hardcore shoujo series. I enjoyed it, though.
I'm a shoe-in for hater of the year.
