Well here is the october 06 coloring contest!

rules are the same as always color the supplied lineart and have fun!!!

this month the lineart is supplied byt chibiphonebooth

its her character I am sure she will tell us more!!

Heh. The one who was whining about not having time is done first. *sigh* guess that's what happens when the homework that is supposed to be done is horribly boring...

Anyway, here's my entry. I wasn't having any good ideas about what to put into the bubble when this idea popped into my head. I find it funny, since a good deal of the time, that's what would be appearing on the tv screen of my mind. One's own little world is a nice place to be.

And chibi, is it alright if I put this up in my dA as a collab?

Love the coloring job, SA. ^^ VERY cool idea for the thought bubble too. Dang, I remember when if you left a VHS video running for too long after whatever was on it had finished, you'd get that coming up on the screen and that intolerable screech. >_< Love the texture and colour and everything too. It's a fun pic with heaps of detail, and you've definitely done a great job highlighting all of that. ^^ The background looks so 3D too... :drool:

...it's cool to have the cell-shading and 3D together. Nice ominous clouds, too. :grin:

...And now... *pounces on SA* GET BACK TO YOUR HOMEWORK! PRIORITIZE!!

I sit at a computer at work for a couple hours a day during the week, but I do really need to cut down on internet time. ^^;;; I'm just on for a few minutes at the moment; I have this marvelous ability to somehow get on for two minutes right after being told to spend less time here... lol.

Again, thanks everyone, this was a lot of fun!

And thanks to chibi for providing such a fun piece of lineart to color.

And I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.

It feels so wierd being on at 4:40 in the morning, but I'm pulling an all-nighter for a mid-term project, and am waiting for my printer to finish, so I had a couple moments. *heh* :drool:

I can relate Soul Alive, school work can really be a pain. :shady:

But you did manage to do such a great coloring job! I really liked the balloon idea too. ^^
Ok, here is my try. I used a technique from Hiroyuki Asada which means you make all your textures by hand then apply a ton of layers. Anyway, I hope you like the final result, now I seriously need to rest. :lol:
