Pikachu's voice hasn't changed ^^.

My opinion: not as good as the old cast, but not horrible either. Brock's new VA is REALLY good, he sounds very close to Eric Stuart's performance. Misty was also extremely close to her old voice in that "Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" episode. The girl playing Ash could improve some, but she's a lot better than the Richie sound-a-like who played him in Mastermind. Jessie and May are pretty good; Max sounds too much like Ash now (when I'm not looking at the screen I have trouble telling them apart). James I'll have to get used to; he's played by Jimmi Zoppi now (Jimmi also plays Meowth) who also played Gary in the old 4kids dub.

Overall, I think I'll survive the dub change and keep watching the show, but I'll always miss the old actors.

Ms Natchenny(sp?)who plays Ash now sounds like she is from Texas.Either that or she sounds like she's trying to do Luci Christian doing Ash.Though it is logical that
Ash of all the characters would have his voice change sooner or later as he comes
close to puberty.What is a bit weird is that his accent has changed from Northern
to Southern.
btw:Look up Pokemon on Wikiepedia and they list all the VAs who played the characters in the dub and original Japanese,also the ANN enclylopedia.Wikiepdia is where I got the name for Ash's new voice actress though I probably misspelled it.
The ones that I find the most glaring are Team Rocket,especially Meowth and James.
The new Brock IMO is a bit more phlegmatic sounding than Eric Stuart's.

It's Natochenny. And she's from New York City.

What's also remarkable is that she's younger than I am, and this is her very first major role. She also looks up to Veronica Taylor and hopes to win over new fans.

I dunno..at first I kinda cringed.. I really miss the old cast and it kinda stinks that they aren't there any more.. (I mean c'mon 8 years!!!)

However, It's not horrible...and I will get used to them...

I only watch the show for Pikachu anyways.. .hehe...

I just heard the new V/A's for the first time today, and I now, officially miss Veronica Taylor! The new V/A for Ash, (Bless her heart) sounds like she's pushing it a LITTLE too hard! Poor Ash sounded like he had a sore throat!

Gee, when puberty hits in the Pokemon universe, it hits HARD!

Yeah. I made a similar comment on her Myspace page. And she knows it. But remember, she's inexperienced so she hopes to improve over time.

I've been watching Pokemon Chronicles on Saturdays.They still have the original actors on it.Incidentally if anyone wants to see how great an actress Rachael Lillis really is check out her role as Nagi in Boogiepop Phantom.

I stopped watching that show after the, what was it, third season? It was good in the beginning but I think it lost a lot of it's soul afterwards. I still play the games though XD

The original cast was still by far the best.

And, for the record, I really didn't think the new cast did nearly as great a job as the original team did.
