I just noted where you claim to have found the brick... that was a note to the Oh My God particle... By the way, did I knock something loose up there when i whacked ya upside da ol' noggin? After all, your claiming that the IRS may come after you... which is rediculous... YOU ARE THE IRS! Remember the trolls... which are as infamous as the brick...

Oh... yes... would you prefer to be hit by an OMG particle instead and then we can dispence with the brick... but was it really so vile a brick? I mean what did it ever do to--- never mind. Well, yes, PASCAL doesn't know that Rei still lives... Rei doesn't really know who Pascal is, so in a way Pascal is dead anyways... but if you so desire you can seak out Rei and attempt to kill him... of course you already had that chance in the mission... thanks for all you did for him though... even if he was originally the one to sorta knock you up-side the noggin...

Welcome to Temulin Free Radio! With us today is the lovely beautiful Dictator that everyone loves! TEMULIN!

Announcer: Greetings St. Temulin, it is always a pleasure to have you on our show. We are nothing without your incredible strength and power to lead us onward. In these later days, how goes your life? I am a great fan of your letters, but I'm always to shy to send anything in... Everything seems to bland to throw before the glorious Temulin! Do you plan on expanding the letter service to take over the world with your general Raven... in fact, how is Raven?

Impressive... did you hear Temulin, Temuoplis and Pacifica together known as the Imperium has recently fallen, they are abandonning Earth in a hasty retreat! Soon your empire will be restored, what do you plan to do now that you will soon be returning to power?

Ok everyone, the stage is set, and hopefully the RP will be a more interesting place because of it. However, there is an issue I wanted to discuss with everyone, I was hoping to boost the RP size a little, we have a large group but I think things could become more interesting with a few more people thrown into the group. This however, brings up some important questions, first do people realize that our RP is open for new members, and further how do we get new members. I've been told that I should look through the RP forums for players that match our level but to be honest I doubt I would find any whose posts are as gargantune as our own.

Remember, most RPs reach their astronomical post counts by small single sentance events... we have reached a rather large post count with posts that are over several pages in length on Microsoft word! I would never want to change that, but the question remains, how to gain new members that would eventually be hard core enough to produce such tomes? Several players do produce longer posts, including Rei, Jade Fox (already was in), and others but... So basically I was wondering if you guys had any ideas. I know that Jaden Mental plays on here and battles Temulin constantly, but whether he could fit within the rules is the question on my mind (he concludes that he defeats everyone he battles). Q the Qreator might desire to do battle if Temulin was in as well, and I'm still hoping Temulin will be part of our fun as well as Hakaii and AZ again soon.

The second point I wanted to bring about is that the magic system will be more laxed during this period to make combat more interesting and to break new players in easier to the systems and rules. At the same time I am looking forward to the future and trying to create a new magic system that will WORK so that it provides the boost to the non-scientific minded players and instead works off their other talents. Still working this out so that it is both cool and challenging is actually my challenge. There are also a few other intriguing things I want to think about, but I might have some fun with this. Anyone mind if I play around with the future of the RP in character?

In a psychological realm of oddities,

Alright I have some suggestions-

1. If we get new members, we should give them their own country NO MATTER WHAT!!! So far all of our members who have started out as scientists, Generals, and other subordinate servants in countries are no longer a part of the Rp...well...I guess Pascal is the exception...but you were our GM to begin with...so yeah...you couldn't leave... Anyway, owning your own country is what makes our RP so appealing. The Rp is like a less structured version of Risk.

2. WE NEED TO SUMMARIZE WHAT HAS HAPPENED SO FAR IN THE RP!!! I could do this but it would take quite a bit of time so it might be a good idea for several of us to do it. We need to go all the way back to this Rp's roots (the Temuoplis uprising) and tell the story from there. This way newer players don't need to read a gagillion long posts...and also lets try to be creative with this. For instance we could write it out like a history textbook and have it's writer be Jofeces. Or we could write it out as a very long set of Poems and title it "And Ode to Of Nations and States"...this way we could make fun of different types of poetry. Or, if you can think of any other Ideas...well...that would be fine...

3. I'm fine with tweaking the arcane arts system as long as it doesn't cause me to have to limit the versatility of Lotan's arcane arts.

4. If Temulin rejoins...then things will get really interesting...just trust me...I have some fun things planned for the future (well the near future at least)...

Ow... you just slammed Puritan though you don't realize it... Sorry Puri, I'm sure he didn't mean to beat up on you! We all know that nuclear engineers are realy scientists :P... I could have left but I had too much fun... But I do agree, they should get their own countries, eventually. At first I was thinking of starting them as a resistance group and moving them up to get them used to things (countries give them a ton of power off day one), but this will eventually lead to nationhood.

2. WE NEED TO SUMMARIZE WHAT HAS HAPPENED SO FAR IN THE RP!!! I could do this but it would take quite a bit of time so it might be a good idea for several of us to do it. That is fine, I did update our page if you look but we don't have a complete historical summery, nor is our tech list updated late with all the stuff that has been added.

3. I'm fine with tweaking the arcane arts system as long as it doesn't cause me to have to limit the versatility of Lotan's arcane arts.

This is for the third age, which is basically the completion of an RP reset placed in continuity. Thus is makes things easier for all players in the end, but there is a lot to be discussed of this next age. I might post my magic system on here, though Zarn hated it, and see what everyone else thinks, he has his own system he was considering which I haven't gone through yet, but he should probobly post it here as well so that we can consider what to do next.

4. If Temulin rejoins...then things will get really interesting...just trust me...I have some fun things planned for the future (well the near future at least)...

Thats a given!

Arcane Arts- The Next Age

Magic System Rules and Reasons

1. The RP consists of 8 Fundemental Magic systems which are listed below.
A. Fire
B. Water
C. Life
D. Earth
E. Shadow
F. Light
G. Support
H. Connection

2. Each of these systems contains all other sub-systems existent within reality and are local based. For instance, Fire contains the control of flames and explosions, but also lightening and burning. Life for instance not only controls poison but also healing and all other forms related to the concept. The goal is to simply connect the magic system’s symbol to the idea that is discussed, sometimes two magic systems may even connect to the same idea but the strongest connector will create the dominant magical ability within the concept. For instance, water may be strongly related to the concept of ice, but earth may be lightly connected (ice is made up of water, but it is hard like rock), thus it is expected that someone having strong control over water would have strong abilities to create or manipulate ice, while someone with control over earth could have weak control over ice, fire however would have no control whatsoever, and one with control of both would have the most power of all.

3. All players can access all magic systems to the magical level of their nation as specified by the requirement of four.

4. The magical “levelâ€

Actually, they have multiple names in the RP, magic, Arcane Arts, Symbological kinetics, Runological Force and so on. I am trying to avoid cliche magic systems by by creating new systems, in so much as I've been told to take one of the other systems. In the end, I am still a GM USSR Girl, besides playing the bad guys as of late, I also have to make sure that none of the systems get the advantage, and recently it has shifted either to magic or science in a most fickle manner. For now I'm trying to loosen restrictions but things have to change in the future to avoid all forms of chaos. Oh, and welcome back Temulin!

Trust me Temmulin, this isn't your cliche Rp at all. The Arcane Arts system is simply adding another layer to a very unique Rp (and it is a very unique Rp...tell me how many Rp's exist on CAA that let you try and conquer the world or how about just one country?). Also, some of the Arcane Arts are quite original...such as the Arcane Arts that Hakii uses and the Arcane Arts that are used by Lotan.

*Feels the need to refute Temulin's Skepticism*

Lotan's Arcane Arts system is like nothing else in the Rp, so I'll use it as an example. For one thing there are no spells. He just controls the movement and temperature of water, and that's simplifying everything. Right now he is in Peanut's body, so he has access to some of the Ninja Monkey Arcane Arts abilities most notably the Ninja Puff of smoke move which I still use from time to time in Goof Off (ok I use it a lot...and yeah...it's fun...I should also note that as of now Peanut has access to Lotan's abilities...Yay!!!). Now so far, I have barely scratched the surface of what I can do with his ability to control water and I do have plenty of ideas as to what I can do with this ability. It is insanely flexible and I would share more...but I would rather leave all of the stuff I have planned as suprises for later on. But don't worry, as long as nobody decides to ZPEB Peanut while he's out in the middle of nowhere, you'll get to see everything I have planned...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...oh, and adding to the reasons why this Rp is original is Dr. Strangemonkeylove...I don't think I need to say anything else Mein Fuhrer...I mean Temulin...

Edit: Pascal, you have to check this out! http://nationstates.net/ I just found it and well...we might be able to use it somehow...maybe...(supposedly you can't actually go to war but supposedly some group of people made up there own system and stuff like that...)so...check it out!

Edit: I found something else that allows you to declare war...perhaps we could use these things just for random off Rp fun...or something like that...anyway, here's the linkhttp://www.cybernations.net/

I think I used to have a country on nationstates.net.

Personally, I find the Pascal scheme for magic power to be rather arbitrary, and skewed in favour of those who are inclined to spend more time on things that are irrelevent to the active plotlines. It also has the potential to create a great deal of "culture" spam, as people try to power up their empires without really putting thought into the real game. Then, of course, there's the problem of scoring - what one person may rate as level 1, another may rate as level 3, creating a situation where what is rewarded is simply ripping off material chosen to please the judge.

Essentially, this places potentially game-changing mechanics on an out-of-band mechanism. This is a bad thing.

Indeed you're right Kaligraphic, but, DO SOMETHING WITH OUR CHARACTERS... We each want to get them back to a certain degree, you know?

Anyways, I am still trying to do battle over what system to use in the end. The slots hold certain advantages in game theory, but there must be a new game that can be played without using the slot system. Science was always difficult because scientific technologies had to be found and were limited as it was. So yeah, oh and don't like to turn the magic system into an approval system because then people will begin arguing with me about it... Science, I can fight back easy (drop five pounds of equations on anyone and they run and hide) but magic is a different story. It was supposed to be approved before in the slot system but it wasn't the approval process that was the problem, it was the lack of control over the slots... and by now the system is in complete disrepair. I need a new plan, and that will take a short time.
