Anyone part of FF online?
Does anyone play Final Fantasy 11? I was kinda hoping maybe I could hango out with some farmiliar faces on there? Anyone play it?

There's a thread about FF11 in the game forum section (toward the bottom of the main forum page). I don't play, but obviously someone does (or did?)

You might as well give up and Final Fantasy XI and just go with WoW like all the other people 
I highly recommend WoW. It's like the best MMORPG out there in existence.

Matey me thinks the reason te wow wins are
soulbound system=get items yourself not buy them for the most part
much more interactive world
good pvp
you can solo most of the game= NO MORE GRINDING CRABS FOR HOURS TO LEVEL UP
wow endgame> ffxi endgame nuff said
almost no emphasis on rare monsters unless your a hunter
gyarr me hopes that helps ya

WOW rocks 
I don't usually play RPG type games (I like games like Myst and Zelda ) but this game is awesome...
FF is boring... I'd say in comparison but I always though FFXI was boring Too long to level up, too long to walk anywhere, the scenery sucked, the boat rides took forever... and if you barely miss the boat you wait another lifetime for the next one to come... you spend hours searching for parties, you spend hours trying to level up... if you die, you loose like 3 hours worth of XP...

Yeah, I see what you mean..its ok, but way hard to get different places-I agree with that. WAAAAy too long to lv up- I SO agree with that. and all the other stuff you guys said is so true, I'm gonna be ending the subscribtion in a few days,its just not my thing.

... Personally, I prefer FFXI over WoW. It appears very few agree with me, however....

Some people don't like FFXI cuz it can be very long and takes a long time to get stuff. Leveling also takes a long time, but then again it is after all an online game so naturally since you pay for it months at a time...I would think it was kind of meant to have very hard stuff to obtain and take a lot of time to do it. Especially since you need to work with other people to get one item (MMORPG). Come on tho would SE make something easy for us?
WoW I have never played, but FFXI I did for 2 years. I quit tho cuz I got too addicted, but I may be back someday I just dunno when.
I have heard WoW is easier in lvling and obtaining stuff, but then again it's all about preference.
I like FFXI tho cuz it takes a long time to get stuff, and the stuff you can do never really ends so you get what you pay for. Multiple jobs especially I like. (Thief and Ninja are my highest lvls and by far the most fun to me). They also have higher lvl cap then WoW. I think WoW is 60 while FFXI is 75.
If you want to see flame wars on FFXI vs WoW...I have the perfect site you can go to lol.
