Step away from the computer. Be fine with being low in the ranks. Level only when you have time. Play for fun, not for glory.

Being the best on WoW or any other MMORPG is like being the best at eating doughnuts. It just means you're fat...

Ok, that may not be the advice you were wanting...

horde=good pvp racials and shamans, alliance= good pve racials and pallys

As stated before take it into moderation. Eh wow is pretty versatile do what you will I would suggest looking at talent specs for whatever class you pick and plan what way your going to spend them since respecs cost a ton.

Oh yea my brothers are addicted to that like moths to a flame... they start playing and they go for hooooooooooours... Oh and lol... they get pretty far levels, then my brother goes out and buys GUILD WARS -_-

My rogue gnome is still level 1 :P I just use him for dancing and messing with people. :P So if you see a gnome running around acting stupid, shouting stupid stuff and dancing on fences or something, its probably me :P

Holy quotable quote, Batman!

Anyhoo, I started off as a Gnome Rogue when I played. It's fairly challenging, but undoubtably fun. Dwarven Paladins are tanks and a half, so if you want to get started quick, go for that.

Or you could be a female Dwarven Priest...

NOOOOOO!!!

We have lost another gamer to WOW!!!

Just kidding but I played WOW for about 3 months...I dont like the fact that you have to pay per month and I prefer free games like Hero Online, Maplestory, Silkroad Online, Conquer Online...All of them are long downloads though...

Horde All the way. Don't let those pretty alliance kids fool you: it's all plastic surgery and starving yourself to get those pretty set bonuses. Plus the Blood Elves are pretty enough anyway.

Humans make great rogues, the + weapon skill to maces and swords really helps out if your sword spec endgame. I went night elf though since it enhanced the abilities that the rogue has rather then give it new ones. Yeah not near as good as the human racials but a guy thats a super huge body builder doesnt look like the type to sneak around.

Also I come bearing a gift http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=27354
Its probably the best you can do with swords, and he has some good shots of daggers rogues and mace rogue fights as well. (dagger rogue=big crits unless your raiding spec which is insanely high white damage, swords high white damage and big big huge eviscirates, maces=stuns or hemo)

Also msp if you have any questions about rogue specs or gear send me a pm here or get on earthen ring and send galacian a message.

I have an Undead rogue (name: Undeadinator), level 30 something I think. Haven't been playing for months as I won't get my money's worth seeing how I work full time and study part time.

But I am very tempted. Stay away from me Mr SmartyPants! :P

I actually started playing finally... as opposed to just running around and pissing people off with annoying dances and remarks :P I'm a level 12 Rogue Gnome... *stealth*

I had a question though? Is there away to set up 2 accounts wihtout haveing to buy 2 games? We have 3 computers all have DSL connection... I think it would be stupid to have to go buy the same game twice just so you're brother can play with you... I don't mind the paying 30dollars amonth for two accounts but buying two games is stupid if you already own it... (and they block it so if someone is signed into the account, noone else can log into that account on any other computer...) I was just curious if there was some way around this...

Ach! I didn't know you lads played! I'm on several servers as of now.

30 Druid on Lightning hoof
11 Dwarf on Crushridge
10 UD Priest on Altar of Storms

Anyone on...any of those? hehe. I hate WoW for two reasons: One, the ridiculous time it takes to do an instance (I spent 4 hours in gnomer....I felt so ashamed), and two, the difference in servers only let mates play in bg together. Sigh.

Well, we had to do all of the quests. Every single one of them. Both Back and Front.

And it was, as you said, going very badly.

I'm getting so fed up with WoW's shameful time commitment that I decided to cancel sub and take a couple month hiatus. ^_^;;

How bad is the magic and such in this game? I was considering it, but a friend of mine mentioned something about demonology, whatever that is.
