Yeah... I can't enlarge it, it just warps the image in that little box when I use the width settings... My monitor is dead... I'm now using my TV as my primary monitor... Well, at least my emulation looks good, heh... Off to play FF tactics... Poble monitor...

Hehe, well there's your problem right there. The brand name on the monitor - eMachines!! I know they're cheap, but that's just it - they're CHEAP!
Anyway, I hope you're able to get a new monitor that isn't too expensive that might last a little longer for you this time. Prices have come down a bit, so it shouldn't be too bad...

yeah, my e-machine monitor has been doing similar things lately too. Every e-machine monitor I've had has crapped out before its second birthday... It's true, they aren't all that good.

Flat panel monitors are starting to come far enough down in price to make them budgetable for just about everyone. Microcenter up here is selling a 20" monitor from View Sonic for like $300.00 or some insane low price.

My dad just picked up a 15" flat panel from staples for ~$150.

Yeah I got mine about a year and a half ago for $180. Best Buy was having a crazy sale. It's a 17" flat panel and I don't ever want to go back to a regular tube monitor again! :thumb:
(Besides, I need the extra space on my desk for my drawing tablet. )

Well, I'm not sure I want an LCD monitor... Dead pixels and blur problems, et al. And al was one of my best friends, so there's a bit of contention... (sorry... couldn't resist)

I'd want another CRT... When they aren't EMACHINES CRT monitors... I've never had a TV last less than 10 years... I know monitors are a bit different (more pixels, for one, and are they in a different configuration?), but I should at least expect 7 years or so out of it, right? At westwood, they have monitors that are 5 years old, and still kickin it.
