Rayman: Raving Rabbids

Postby Myoti » Sat Aug 05, 2006 4:20 pm

At first I didn't care. But after hearing that it would be Wii exclusive, contain around 60 styles of gameplay, Adult Swim style humour, and many more things not yet revealed (having to do with WiiConnect24), I'm finally interested.

I may just have to pick up this (I believe it's a launch title).

And for anyone who reads NP:
"I have to Wii."
That image is never leaving my mind. XD;
Since day one, I've been planning on buying this game. It looks fun. Really fun.

*clears throat*

This game has become the reason I'm getting a Wii at launch. Yay.

That is all.

Rayman...as in, the old Playstation Rayman? With the big yellow things on his head? Wow. I had forgotten those games even existed. XD That's cool, though. :D

Rayman 2 was awesome. Rayman: Hoodlum Havoc was, meh... I was seriously hoping for more platforming fun from that one.
Now, I don't know what to think of Raving Rabids. I like the zany look of it and all, I just hope they don't try to add too much variety and end up detracting fun from the game. 60 styles of game play? That could be good, or really, really bad. Do one thing, do it well...ya know? We'll see.

What Esoteric said. Could be good, or an experiment horribly gone wrong.

There's just something intriguing about psycho rabbits screaming their heads off at you though...

This game and three others (SSBB, Trauma Center Wii, and Zelda: Twilight Princess) are the main reasons that I want the Wii. I love how the bunnys look, and the graphics for the game are really good, even though its on the least technologically advanced system, or at least that is what has been said.

This game is very fun and very funny and I really like it and it's another great party game, even though it's one player... (well, I think there's a two player mode, but I never played it two players) That is all.

That "shut the toilet door" whack-a-mole type game was ridiculously hard...

They also have it on PS2, but this game really was designed for the Wii... Unlike Splinter Cell, which absolutely sucks on the Wii...

I think the one on the PS2 is a platformer.

Yeah, though I wasn't aware they were making this for other systems at all (till I saw the GBA one, but that's also a platformer).

This was my second game for Wii (not counting Wii Sports), and it seriously rocks.

It's like battling a hoard of Stitch clones, but they all look like rabbits.

One thing this game did is acquaint me with aiming a gun on the wii, which will be nice when I move on to things like Call of Duty... Let me reiterate, however, that the wii version of Splinter Cell... Sucked... it was really really bad... Games like this and perhaps older FPS games are what this system were MADE for...

I wonder if Wario Ware will end up blowing this thing out of the water, though... Hmm...

I wouldn't be surprised, at least in terms of gameplay. Wario Ware has a greater variety of positions to use with the controller.

I think the Rabbids are more memorable than what Wario's characters will be. ('m saying this as someone who hasn't played either game, however)

Oh man. I finally got to play this game last night with a couple of freinds. This must be the most fun multiplayer game released this generation. We played it for four hours straight and came away with tired arms (from the hour and a half of workout mode games) and bellies from laughing so much. I am so buying this game as soon as I have the money.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them.
