Guitar Hero

Come on, there's gotta be somebody here besides me and Jamie that plays this. This game is awesome. I play mostly on Medium, but I can do some Hard songs too. Some of my faves are Smoke on the Water, Ziggy Stardust, Take Me Out, Get Ready 2 Rokk.

What difficulty do you play on, and what are your favorite songs to play? Heck, post some scores if you want! I got a 100% on Ziggy Stardust Medium today. Wewt. 8D

I hear about this a lot from some of the members at Anime Angels and the Guild, but I've never actually seen it in action. How does it work? Is it the same idea as DDR/StepMania/etc.? Just curious. :)

It's exactly the same as DDR/Stepmania but with a guitar controller instead of a dance pad.

I typically play on Hard but I like to try Expert songs. I've passed quite a few on Expert.

My favorites be Thunderkiss '65, More Than A Feeling, Take Me Out, Iron Man, I Wanna Be Sedated, Killer Queen, and Godzilla.
I'm a shoe-in for hater of the year.

Oh I love Guitar Hero! My cousin has it, but I don't own it. I usually play on hard, and I have passed one or two in expert. I can't remember my scores, but I'd say I'm probably best at 'I wanna be sedated' I think I got a hundred on all the difficulty settings.
My other favorite songs are "Even Rats" "Killer Queen" "Take me out" and... gee I dunno, I can't really remember, it's been a while since I played.

Take Me Out is ridiculously catchy, isn't it? Every time the guys come over and we all play, we get that song stuck in our brains and walk around humming it. XD

You know what would be awesome? Online play.

With the exception of music. DDR has JPop (most of it) while Guitar Hero has classic American Rock.

I play at Best Buy too since my best friend's older brother works there.
I got a perfect in "Iron Man."

I love this game. It's really too bad I've been too stingy to buy it. I keep thinking that I should wait for guitar hero 2, and buy the guitar controller/game combo so I can get guitar hero 1 for cheap.

But really, the game is so much fun I really wonder if I will be able to hold out.

Also, I will have a spasm of joy if I find out that any of Coheed and Cambria's songs make it into GH2..... Welcome Home would be.... Glorious.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. Aghhhh! I could die happy if that happened. Really, any of their songs would be excellent in Guitar Hero.

YAY!!!

I am a Guitar Hero mega fan, or as my friends say, Guitar Herotaku :P

I am pretty good at the game. I can do every song on Expert except for Cowboys From Hell and Bark at the Moon. I always make it to around 60 percent on those. Every song other than that is fairly simple on Expert.

I dunno if this helped me or not, but I am an ex-guitarist in a band. Now I play Hard Rock, and this game actually helped me leard Godzilla and Iron Man on the real guitar.

I would love that but i would highly doubt it because they would either A) have to give Guitar hero a M for strong lyrics or B) have it edited :/. So as much as i would love that i would doubt it because Coheed songs as awesome as they would (I'd imagine) try to avoid putting violent lyrics on that game. *crosses fingures* But theres always hope XD

Hmm.....I think that there is some censoring in the game. I mean, No One Knows is not clean on the Queens of the Stone Age CD, right?

Take It Off is a really, really dirty song too. Plus, the game is rated Teen already. So I don't know why it would be that big of a problem. I think a bigger problem would be the length of Coheed's songs. Most of 'em run at least five minutes or more.

Yea the length might be a issue too ShirioHikari. But yea thats true the game is rated T. I think they could censor it but the violence is probably the only issue

Now I have to choose between this and whatever the latest Time Crisis game is . . . what is it, 3 now? Whichever one lets you dual-wield in 1-player mode.

That would be Time Crisis 4.

Um I've listened to Welcome Home and not a swear was heard. *shrugs*

Imagine this:

Sounds impossible, huh? No, but AWESOME!

Could someone tell me all the songs that are in this game? Including unlockables.
