2.) You're ripping off the hard working people who made the series.
3.) Bootlegs have TERRIBLE quality compared to the official versions.
4.) Illegal, duh.
5.)They don't always work
7.)Then menus on HK rips are TERRIBLE.

::sigh:: I'm a sucker for low prices. Igot the entire Evagelion Set for like $50.00 and I can't play the first c.d. (has the first 8 episodes) and also it like jitters around.....no not the box, the screen jitters while the it's playing

Well, personally I love bootlegs and I am always going to buy them.

1) Oh well, at least they are cheap. Not everyone has the money to buy 4 episode DVD's filled with jammed pack bouns crap! I want to see the episodes. 7) Personally I love them And most of the time they are almost the actually thing (as the real copy).

Another comment I have to add is, the covers of the boxes are excellent.

I dont know what to think of bootlegs. Sure, they're cheap but you're ripping off the creators and the studio who made them.

As for poor quality, I have a Cowboy Bebop thing (which I think is bootlegged) and the quality of it is SUPERB!! Though I'm not happy with my Evangelion thing i got online cause like I said before the first disc doesn't work so we're goign to see if we can get that replaced.

Other than that the entire series works

You must know where to buy them. If you buying them off a Geocities site or some cheap little anime fan based corner, you should stop. If you would want to know where is a good place with good quality, PM me. (*because I am not quite sure if we can talk about this over the board itself.)

nah, I buy my anime usually from Meganimedvd.com but I got evangelion from crosstoy.com. I'm thinking buying my anime from Animenation from now on since they are bootlegs. A tad bit expensive though

As bootlegs and other kinds of illegal releases are actively discouraged (he says with a sigh looking at the SonMay CDs on the desktop), yes, we would prefer you didn't.
