Computer Part/Equipment Suppliers

Postby mechana2015 » Mon Aug 28, 2006 9:22 pm

I would like to hear who people use to get there computer supplies or who they use to get what parts. I'm starting this just as a resource thread for people to see, maybe, where some of the people who are more technically minded go for gear.

That being said I do have a secondary reason, in that I am looking for a VESA desk mounted arm for my second monitor and am wondering if anyone knows where to find some at good prices, from a reliable distributer.

I mostly get my crap from Frys or some mom and pop asian store around the San Gabriel Valley. Good finds there.

Furniture wise I choose Ikea though they might not have what you're looking for.

newegg is good and so is http://www.mwave.com Between the two of them I've built (or seen built) about 5 computers, and their service and prices are consistantly good.

I mostly use Newegg for personal stuff, and CDW for corporate purchases.
