Icarus, that 18-year-old Sakura kind of scares me. I always think of her as a cute little fourth-grader. But, thanks for sharing it with us.

Onto the questions:

1. Probably a dog, like a rat terrier (I have one of those), who'd be cute, but then would transform into this canine beast with long fangs and cool wings. It would be kind of like a wolf.

2. I haven't seen MKR in forever, but I think I would want everyone to know the truth (God) like what Spiritsword said. That is really what Heaven will be like and that would be a wonderful place where everyone would just accept God for the creator and Lord of all, without struggling to believe something so simple.

It's the prequel to X/1999, starring Dragon of Heaven, Subaru Sumeragi, who, as a medium (yep. a medium. >>;; so be kinda careful when watching/reading it) helps solve supernatural murder cases. I think the pictures Ren posted are from a case that involves the soul of a dead dog turned evil...I THINK.

Okay, we talked about guardian beasts. Now it's on to angels and Angelic Layer. I'm really, REALLY enjoying this great anime series. So here's the question. If you had your own angel and could play Angelic Layer:
What type of angel would you create (emphasis on speed, strength, defense, etc.)?
What would your angel look like?
What would you name your angel?
Would your angel have any special attacks (within the limits of Angelic Layer--no weapons, and the attack has to be realistically created by the angel)?

What type of angel would you create?: I've always been a speed type person, and now's no different. ^^

What would your angel look like?: First off, it would be a MAN angel, because there aren't enough of those. Yep. A guy angel with long black hair (in a Hotohori-esque ponytail), elf ears, and a blood red visor and jumpsuit...thingy...can't remember if those had a name.

What would you name your angel?: Kanon. ^^

Would your angel have any special attacks?: I dunno...maybe something that would mimic one of Kouga's (Inu-Yasha) wolf kicks.

Hmmmmm, I love Angelic Layer too! Its soooo awesome!

I would make its emphasis on speed and defense, I would want it to look athletic (girl of course) and with colors like blue and red and purple and a the outfit would be sports like for functionality in the layer, her name . . . hmmmm . . . I would want a Japanese name since it is a Japanese show so it would probably be something like Miaka or Sakura or Kisa ( I like those names). Special attacks . . . probably something like a super mode like Blanche or flying of course would be awesome;).

Okay, my angel.

I would choose a pure speed type, with a medium-weight frame. The speed would be necessary to facilitate some of his (yes, I would design a male angel) techniques.

My angel's design would be male, short dark brown hair like my own, green eyes (like my own). His outfit would include loose fitting pants and a jacket of sorts with a cape hanging from the back rather than the shoulder. Color scheme would be dark blue with some orange highlights (there is a reason behind this color scheme, both personal and functional). His cape would be a bright, BRIGHT orange.

My angel's name would be Captain, short for the name of a character I created in high school who is a bit like my fictional representation.

Special attacks and techniques:
I would have weights designed into the angel on the wrists and ankles. These would serve to increase the angel's power in his attacks by using the weight to increase momentum during flips, jumps, etc.
With the emphasis completely on speed, the loose fitting clothing would be caused to move so quickly around my angel by his speed as to actually serve as a barrier or shield to most attacks.
The very bright cape and orange highlights, besides having a sentimental value, in contrast to the dark blue and when used correctly at the high speeds my angel would be capable of within the layer's bright interior, would reflect the light in ways to actually utilize the light in offensive and defensive techniques. But those are Captain's secret techniques, the most incredible of those being the "Light of Truth", so I can't reveal them here.

I really enjoyed hearing everyone else's angel designs! Now all we need is our very own Icchan to design the layer!
