What Do You Think of When You Look at the Moon?

Talk about anything in here.

I look at the moon and think: 'Now how beautiful is that? Wow.' Then I stare at it for a few minutes until someone comes outside and is like "What are you doing out here? It's cold, nutcase." :brow:

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

Even on a clear day, I normally can't see the moon, because there are too many buildings in the way.

firestorm - I find that highly disturbing.

Usually when I look at the moon I think of rain. When you cant see the moon here, its raining, when you can its going to rain. meh, it rains far too much here >_<

Okay, Lluvia crafted this wonderful statement on God's creation....
And all you guys think about is food when you see the moon???

Nah... the mods aren't that uptight. ;)

At the very worst, it would get moved to Goof Off, but I don't think they'd do that unless the entire thread was spam.

Mmmm! SPAM!

Oh, and, uh, the moon is really cool. :thumb: *howls* ... I'm not kidding about the howling, either.

Okay, that is funny. I find it hard to believe that an alpha female wolf would get excited over spam (the imitation meat).

*clears throat*

Back on topic, I heard that a few years ago a senior design project group from Georgia Tech tried to create moon-bounce antenna system. I don't know if they succeeded or not.

That is what I also think about when I look at the moon. This thought is probably not what is expected in this thread..., but I am a soon-to-be engineer.

Hey, even wolves have to settle for less than the best sometimes.

The moon would probably be just as pretty tonight, but it's too foggy to see. *whines* 'S not fair.

So we're what, a pack of like, four now? And one male. He's a smidge outnumbered. Ah, well. :brow:

*howls* Let's get the chicken!

This is what I think of when I see the moon: See Rock City!

The moon is rock, I've been to Rock City, and the cheese gimick was already taken. Other than that, I don't think of much besides what a sight it is when full - looking at it from inside a car that is traveling on an interstate (as a passenger >_>).

I think of how small we are in compare to the rest of creation and especially God. I think it is beautiful and it makes me feel calm. It also makes me want to wrap up in a nice blanket. :) I love the night sky with the moon and all the wonderful stars!

I think of this old Doonesbury strip from the '70s where this mad scientist college kid named Ralph drinks a werewolf formula and starts singing something about 'fly me to the moon.'
To all, life thou givest, to both great and small.
In all life, thou livest, the true life of all.
We blossom and flourish as leaves on a tree
And wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.

The moon is simply beautiful tonight. All big, orange, and glowy like a dimly lit bulb. Inspirational, really.
But I could still go for a macaroon.
