Sigh, I agree with UC.
I only wonder this: Why is this comment stuck up here at the top of the general section? Why wasn't Millyfan's banning and what she did in the announcements section? I know that here it would be read more, and Millyfan's atrocities are now here for all to see. Is that the reason?
Shatterheart, I hope you grow from this experience. I think it's safe to say, Millyfan is now out of your life. I've been praying for you two for awhile.
I want to say one thing on Millyfan's behalf, since she has pretty much lost many of those who were known as her friends. She was a young woman in a very sad home situation. She has a very young mind and is on disability. We were the only Christian voice she heard, since she had been pulling away from the Lord for awhile. She has Asperger's (a neurological disorder) and other mental problems which I'm sure caused her paranoia to grow toward Steve. In her eyes, he was seen as an angry, evil human being. She completely doubted his salvation. I really think if Steve would have just apologized to her, as a believer, after saying some very cruel words to her publicly on these forums and flaming her, this may have been subsided. I'm writing this here, because Shatterheart, Steve, seems to want everyone to know what is going on and be very open.
I opted to not pm, because I think, we, as a Christian family need to realize, our words hurt. They are well guarded here at CAA by very competent and mature mods, but every so often the human in us comes out. Our words are powerful and disabling when they are all we rely on for fellowship. I honestly, don't want any harm to come to Steve and I know, because of how the laws work, the false statements made by Millyfan will be cleared up. If Steve has a spotless record in Maine, there is no reason for this to go any further, legally.
I'm being outspoken, but I really think this thread should be
closed and it should remain a mod/banned person issue without all the hulla bulloo. It's finally over and let's let it die out.
