TriGun is a must watch, I'd highly recommend viewing it next. The only legitimate objections I head of it from its critics were of the animation (which was accused of being somewhat crude and recycled) and the allegedly to-thin line between slapstick comedy and dark drama.

Bleach is quite good also.

My first recommendation would be to watch Trigun. It has almost no killing in it, its a great commedy at times and it has a really good storyline to go with it. there are even parts in the anime that show christian point of veiws. its a great anime altogather. im currently watching the prince of tennis on toonami jetstream so if you wanted you could watch taht one now really. personally i like it. it has been a pretty good show. granted i have only see a few episodes. bleach is coming out pretty soon on AS and i havent seen it but i have heard its pretty good. As for samarai champloo...be warned its has a lot of cussing, sexual inuendos, some "almost" nudity, and an episode compleatly dedicated to gays. if you can get past all of that its actually got a good story line and is a well put togather show in my opinion.

well, i watched the first episode of samurai champloo in subtitles and it had a LOT of swearing. in one episode there was probably over twenty swear words. half of them being s-words and f-words. i take it, the english version is toned down at least a little bit.

It is, as most of those curse words were more or less added by the subbers. I also feel the dub has much better dialogue. As for your other titles...

If you liked Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter has many of the same qualities. It would be a solid choice, though I warn you it isn't likely to be finished any time soon (in manga, anyway, I cannot speak of how far they took the anime).

Trigun is a classic, but other people have already spoken to it. Bleach is a solid shonen title that I would also recommend.

I second (fourth?) Trigun. One of my top 15 favorite series; it's certainly worth your time. :D As for the rest, I've never seen any of them, though I have heard that Black Cat is quite good, and I'm looking to watch that one myself someday. XD Good luck finding a title you enjoy! :thumb:

Trigun is good in both the dub and sub forms.I don't know about the Samurai Champloo sub as I haven't seen it subbed yet so can't vouch for the swearing in it,though in the dub it's rather mild although the AS version makes it seem worse than it is.As far as sexuality goes, the only really questionable episode is the one
with the gay Dutchman in it.

That would depend on what you view as questionable, sexually. There are a few other homosexuality references, a great number of sexual situations, and frequent "nudity" (where someone isn't wearing anything but there are conveniently placed objects). Instead of going over it in to much detail, I'll just link to CAA's review:

i believe there was also an episode where a guy was in the pond with jin and was hitting on him. but anyways as for the cuss words there are still alot in the dubbed version but a lot of them get bleeped out with the sound of a record player benig pushed back and forht. (lol did that even make sence? its hard to explain i cant think of the word for it so taht is what you get :p )

From your list I will join everyone else in recomending Trigun. You can skip Samurai Deeper Kyo though (trash). If you like Trigun, I'll also recomend Rurouni Kenshin. It's like they took Vash and moved him to meiji Japan (though I think Kenshin actually came first).

Depending on your tastes I recomend Now and Then, Here and There. It's a bit intense for some, so you may want to check the review to see if it's something you'd be interested (most of your titles seem to be of a more lighthearted nature). Almost anything be Akitaro Daichi (director) is worthy of a viewing.

U~ta~wa~re~! Utaware's definitely a good anime, but there's some fanservice...One of the female characters practically screams "fanservicey," haha. I would reccommend it if you think you can handle that, but it's just been licensed by ADV, and will be released in early '07 under the name "Shadow Warrior Chronicles" (which is weird, since it doesn't translate at all...but that's another topic for another thread. XD). Still, I hesitate to recommend it to you because of the fanservice, even though the instances are pretty sporadic. Good anime, though. :)
