Hmm...I say it's a three way tie between Hige, Toboe and Kiba. (Though, my decision may be based off the great V/A's (voice actors) than the actual characters. :lol:

)

Anyway...in terms of character, I would have to say...Kiba. I love the line he gives when he's talking to Tsume...

"Can I ask you a question?" - Tsume
"Sure." - Kiba
"Just where the heck are we going?" - Tsume
"To Paradise" - Kiba

Call me crazy, but the way he delivers that line is really cool! He's just so devoted to his goal!

but Toboe...just pulled at my heartstrings... I guess I am a softy.

Probably because for the majority of the series, Tsume was constantly abusive to poor Toboe...that normally doesn't sit well with fangirls.

Even though Tsume is voiced (in the dub) by my favorite voice actor, my favorite character has to be Kiba.

Toboe wasn't bad,he was more or less still a pup,but I liked Blue better.Ever notice how Johnny Bosch Yong always seems to play the stoic loner type in anime:

Yeah, he plays those rolls well, but whenever called upon, he can burst out the hyperactive teenage boy voice in a heartbeat! (A 'la Renton Thurston from Eureka 7)

On another note, it looks like a tie between Kiba and Blue--Tsume gets NO love...

Oh btw:I was lurking at AU forum and someone there said that AS no longer has the rights to Wolf's Rain that they decided to drop it from their active list because it is no longer listed on the AS site.

Aaw, poor Tsume, no love for him? :\ That's sad. I guess I'm the only one who has him being their favorite character. But then again, I liked them all. It's hard to choose. But in the end, I like Tsume. I've always felt like I've had a sort of relation to him. ^.^

While I've only read the manga, my fav is Kiba. But the manga was short and I didn't really get to know the characters. I didn't even know Blue was a girl(when there's a character like Toboe in the series, it's hard to tell what Blue is!).

And Tsume is MEAN. I know that much. I didn't like him at all and I'm not surprised he's getting no love. Big, fat meanie Tsume.

In the anime Tsume is really mean at first, and I didn't like him to begin with. But near the last episode, he's really sweet and you see his true kind heart. He kind of has a 'tough guy' act I guess, but is really a 'softy'. So I like him now! (hasn't read the manga *sobs*)

I like all five of the choices! But I'm going to have to vote for Kiba, cause when I first watched Wolf's Rain he was the one I liked right away. Later I came to love the others after seeing more of them (Tsume was last), but he was an instant favorite!
