Well, I guess this is technically a triple post, but with almost a month between, I hope we can let it slide.

If anyone's interested, I just picked up CLAMP no kiseki 6. It's probably not one of the more anticipated editions since there isn't much buzz here about RG Veda. To be honest, from what I've read in the issue, I'm only more confused about what's going on.

However, if you are interested in the chess pieces at all, this volume includes Hikaru of Magic Knight Rayearth as (what else) a white knight.

I just ordered a copy from ebay the other day. I hope it gets here soon. I've read volumes 1-3 of RG Veda and I like it so far. I probably shouldn't read volume 6 just yet then, I assume ti spoils the whole series, like all the other Kiseki volumes ^^

Tsubasa volume 10 should be in stores next week! Who all is current with Tsubasa? I'm totally diggin the world that they're in right now. It's pretty cool.

Anybody heard any news about Tsubasa Chronicle yet? I might have to go looking myself soon. I'm eager to find out who does what voice. I keep thinking 'So and so would be great as Syaoron! But, oh! This person would be too!'.

Also, if we can get things moving again, would you guys like to re-instate a monthly contest? I know I'm jumping into bringing us back headfirst, but it's been nagging my head for the past couple days. Give me feedback on ideas for contest and prizes, if you want to continue them! Well, I guess, that is if you all want me to take up the running since Spiritsword doesn't come around anymore.

I haven't been keeping up with Tsubasa past volume 4, since I'm currently broke. XD I am looking forward to the release of the anime though, since I wasn't able to finish the subs before it was licensed. Anyways, here's a cool picture I found!

I'm totally into Tsubasa Chronicles. I've watched up to the latest one subbed. It is a cool series. I've watched alot of CardCaptor:Sakura and soem of CardCaptors. I haven't seen any of the other clamp series though. Hopefully Tsubasa will go into the Cardcaptors universe!

Topic ressurection ^^

I'm all current with Tsubasa. I've got volumes 1-9 and have seen up to episode 37 fansubbed. (episode 37 was hilarious!!) At Anime Expo 2006 they announced that the Tsubasa dub would be fully cast by July 7th, so they've already started working on it. I hope the DVDs come out soon.

The old monthly contests were fun, it would be cool if we could have them again.

Oh all, right. I *have* been lurking. And since the thread has been resurrected I'll post a bit. You can take the Spiritsword out of the CLAMP Fan Club but you can't take the CLAMP Fan out of the Spiritsword...or something like that.

I actually own volumes 11 and 12 of the Tsubasa manga in Japanese, ironically I don't own vol. 10 in English yet. I went looking for it yesterday but it wasn't out here yet. The next world looks interesting, but I won't say any more. *evil grin* I also picked up a copy of Newtype (Japanese) which had a lovely CLAMP Newtype insert with some awesome Tsubasa art. Wish I could scan it.

As for the anime, I'm really not so up on that. So like SpiritWolf, I'm interested in knowing any tidbits anyone else knows.

Reinstating the contest sounds awesome SpiritWolf. I don't plan to run it, I'm going to continue lurking and posting occasionally, but if you need help with the questions, you know where to reach me.

And I'll let you do this as well, SW, but we can invite the new (I think! sorry if I'm wrong, it's been so long!) posters, RadicalDreamer and starwarsboy, to join the Club as well.

Thanks for the great pic of Sakura, Radical Dreamer. I wish I could post some of the pics I have in poster form from my Tsubasa calendar. They're wonderful. I also have a neat little poster with XXXHolic on one side and Sakura, Ashura, and Yasha (anime-styled) on the other. XXXHolic is all well and good, but you all can guess which side I'm hanging up. This little goodie came in my Japanese Newtype as well. I'm very grateful that we have NTUSA over here, but when I look at a Japanese Newtype I'm reminded that we're still missing out.

Anyway, glad to se the Club up and running again. With CLAMP activity increasing as of late on the anime and manga front, this is a good time for it. Thanks, SW, I'll be around if you need me.

Hey SpiritWolf! ^___^ Yeah, I'm kind of cheating with the advance Tsubasa volumes, but they're too hard to resist.

Has anyone else heard of the new anime series in Japan that CLAMP designed the characters for? I saw it in my Japanese Newtype. The character designs look great.

Anyway, I'm going to work on a quiz for you guys tomorrow while I'm at work, so I should hopefully have something together by the end of the weekend.

Couple of questions for you, though.

What would you like as a prize? We don't have pics in our signatures anymore, but I can keep giving you pictures of the Clow Cards if you'd like. (And if that turns out to be so, if someone knew where a site with those pictures would be, I'd be forever grateful.) Or it could be something else. I'm open to suggestions of any kind. I can, or if someone in here is an artist with free time on their hands, do a fanart for the winner. I'm not amazing with drawing, but I can try.

How many questions should each quiz be? Spiritsword and I had been doing five before and that seems like a reasonable amount.

What you need to do, termyt, dear, is take an entire week off of life and watch all of those DVDs and make a sizeable dent in the reading. Having all of that and not putting it to good use? Crazy. Especially those poor books.

5 always seemed like a good number of questions to me, but if others prefer more or less I'm game. The problem with more from a creator standpoint is that sometimes it's hard to come up with a lot of good questions, especially if you're trying to stay within a certain theme.
