KhakiBlueSocks wrote:Anybody remember blowing into the cartrige/machine to try and make it work? Ah, those were the days! The cartriges were so rugged, you could drop 'em like a million times, and it'll still work! Not like today's fancy and delicate CD's--drop 'em the wrong way, and they're scratched!
Radical Dreamer wrote:Yes indeed, I had an NES. Still do, actually. It's a tad dusty, but it still works fine (show of hands...how many of you use the "blow on the cartridge" technique in order to make your games work? XD).

And yes we bloew on them until we passed out! and the machine too! Reset a million times, push the cartiage up and down... You name it.

Khaki wrote: * Take a deep breath and blow inside the cartrige (Or Cart for short) and the console three times each.
* Slam the Cart five times in the console
* Push in on the cart while locking it in the machine
* Press the reset button 10 times in rapid succession, then power the console off, leave it alone for 5 seconds, then turn it back on and reset one last time.

Yep, no ESRB, Mystique was free to release their pornographic Atari games with no reaction from the government whatsoever. Oh yeah, and Panesian's pornographic NES games. Those totally didn't ruin the reputation of video games.
