For a split second, I thought you said, sacrificed sheep... :dizzy: Man, I must be the one who needs sleep, either that, or the influential repercussions of those beef wings are kicking in....

Wow, Jaden, those are really unique! A nice strong use of color, very phsycadelic! The second one belongs in Souba's Bishe thread, but I like it the most!

Um, but you say you're having trouble with file sizes...and I notice you saved them all as PNG files... With PNGs and GIFs, the more color variation you have, the biggger the file so naturally, your files would be huge! A JPG file, while prone to artifacting and some detail loss, is a much better format to use for something like this. What program are you using?

Oh, Illustrator? That explains it! Yeah, no Jpeg option there... Hmm, you wouldn't happen to have photoshop too, would you? If so, then you have two choices.
If your Illustrator file has been saved with PDF compatability, you can open your file directly in photoshop and then save a copy as a PSD or jpeg (just be sure not to make changes to the original file, or it might not reopen in Illustrator).
Or, you can do what I normally do. Open the illustrator file and copy everything. Go to photoshop, and create a new file (it should automaticaly select image dimensions based on whatever you've copied.) Then paste. It will ask how you want to paste: as pixel, paths or shapes.... choose pixel. Then position it how you want and hit enter. Sometimes the colors shift alittle this way, but it's nothing which can't be corrected by Hue/Saturation. Once in photoshop, you can Save for Web and get a nice small jpeg file...

If you have any questions, just ask.

Pleade give me until tomorrow night! I ended up having a lot going on today and I wasn't able to finish it. And now I have to go to sleep early because I have to start work insanely early tomorrow morning. Gomen!

Can do! :thumb:

In this case you gave plenty of advanced warning, and the contest is closing unusually early and besides, the more entries the merrier ^^

Don't let it stress ya too much though, just try to have fun with it and remember that any entry is better than no entry. People have even submitted half finished pieces in the past that looked just fine. I hope it works out and sleep is indeed a priority where work is involved *nods*

If anyone else wants to take advantage of the extension they are totally free to do so ^^

WOOT! A new artist!

Welcome to the circle of colouring buddies Chii! Don't worry about the thumbnail issues, I'm still figuring all that stuff out too ^^; And besides, the image is nicely sized.

I love how amazingly textured your version is, the colours are so vibrant and they're working well together. My eyes keep moving around and trying to take it all in, you've added lots of nice details. It's also cool how the hair is so high contrast and 'popping' atcha. Well done! :thumb:

hey LQ I have an unusual request...is there a way we can see how everyone did? Like say all the places!! This is gonna be hard to judge I know..XD;; so if it's too much trouble..that's ok!

Also, I am a huge critique fan.... is there a way you can say WHY an entry won?

This is exciting!! i am really loving all these entires.
