Okay, well Acro and Assist happen to be my specialties xD So, I'll try to help you as best as I can.
First, acrobats. There are two main weapons for acrobats, Bows and Yoyos.
Bows are slightly more powerful than Yoyos are, however Bows require Arrows, and you will go through arrows rather quickly. Arrows cost 1 penya each, and you can carry as many as you want (3000 arrows take up one item block in your inventory). But you have to remember to buy arrows often, because if you run out, you can't fight anymore. Bows have more powerful abilities than yoyos as well, including the incredibly powerful Junk Arrow (one of my favorite skills) and, eventually, Arrow Rain. Damage from Bows are determined by your dexterity stat, and bow skills cost MP to use. So the key stats for bow are Dex, Sta, and Int. Sta is important to have good defense, dex boosts your damage, and a little int to get some bonus MP is good too.
Yoyos are equip-and-go weapons. They take up both hands, just like the bow. When you use your yoyo, you have a chance of knocking your opponent away from you, and the odds of doing so are determined by your dexterity stat. Damage from Yoyos is determined by your strength stat. So the key stats are Dex, Sta, and Str. Yoyos concentrate more on tech than damage; they usually have some side effects (such as Slow Step, which makes your opponent's walking speed slow).
Acrobats aren't as hard to level as mercs are, but they still take awhile. Fighting one on one is very tedious, so be warned.
Assists are different than any other class. As an assist going for Billposter, there are lots of things to consider. First of all, there are 3 main Billposter attacks to think of - Piercing Serpent, a strength-based AoE that does damage to enemies straight in front of you; Bgvur Tialbold, an int-based AoE that does great damage to enemies surrounding you; and finally, Asalraalaikum; another attack that does damage based on the amount of MP you have when you use it.
So you have to consider which of these attacks you want to use; it's much better to concentrate on one instead of all of them. My recommendation is building your character around Bgvur Tialbold (and in turn, Asalraalaikum). A good build for Bgvur is to have only Sta and Int; mainly sta with some int to increase the damage.
But back to assist. When leveling up assists, you gain skills known as 'buffs', which increase stats or other things. The most important buff of them all is Heap Up. I can't stress that enough. Your Heap Up should be the one you concentrate on the most. But it's good to keep all your buffs high. Other important buffs for AoEing are Patience, Mental Sign, Beef Up, and Quick Step. Make sure those are decently high xD So let me know what you decide to do.
