Those wallpapers are so adorable! And you're right, the last one is cute!! I tried direct-downloading ep 12 last night, but I wasn't able to watch it, since something was wrong with the codecs (?). So, I decided torrenting would be best, and it should be finished by now. I'm not on the computer I usually use, so I haven't watched it yet, but I will as soon as the chance presents itself! :D

German Fandub:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=OVrM1YgOS5U

I think we should do a fandub too. I was thinking of episode 8, from the time that Benawi explains who the winged people are to the scene where Eruru is giving them tea.

I've got quite a few wallpapers from Utaware. Contact me on AIM or via PM if you'd be interested.

I saw the raw for ep. 14. The animation looks weird and the character designs are really, really ugly.

Low budget episode?

I'm sure. There's one (or more) in every series, though, so I'm not really surprised.

I was told they had a different animator for that particular episode.

Is anyone still interested in trying a fandub?

Ah, don't be hasty my friend.

Isn't it sad, Eruruu?

Except, in the game (I haven't played it), that's when Eruruu and Hakuoro have some "intimacy."

IT's ep 14 that's supposed to be ugly, I think. Ep 13 is quite nice.

Just watched 14. The animation is a bit sloppy in places, but some of those brief skirmishes were really cool to watch. :p

I watched the first episode of this and was unimpressed. It looked and felt a lot like Inuyasha, and I'm not a fan of that show so the mood of it was kind of it was kind of offputting. Does it get any better later on?

I kinda see what you mean, but no it's quite different. One of them "mass-war" series if I can put it that way. The constant warring for me a few eps back were -_- but since the plot started continuing on in ep 13, getting more interesting^^

Like in 13 the
OTHER winged guy who was riding along with the guy with the EXTREMELY annoying "gak gak gak" laughing voice >_< I disslike him... but hmmm the new winged person is kinda like "huh?" and the whole beastly Hakuoro etc... just gives you more questions than answers, so interesting^^
Ok, so I finally got around to watching 13 and 14!
While I enjoyed 13 immensely, I agree with the rest of you about 14...At least, the first half, anyways. It was strange...The first half of episode 14 had awful animation (the proportions were all WAY off, and it seemed to be animated rather loosely) and it was far more violent than earlier episodes. Well, more "gory" than violent; you don't see people's limbs and lower bodies flying through the air in eps 1-13. But after the mid-episode mark, the show seemed to return to its normal self. That's when it got really cool! I LOVED Touka's fight scene! And Hakuoro's, too, since we haven't really seen his fighting techniques with the fan much. Pretty cool!
So yeah, though 14 got off to a rough start, it ended well, and that saved it. XD

*waits for 15* I'm starting to have a lot more questions about the plot now, so I'm really excited to see the later episodes!

I don't like Static-Subs name usage (Eruruw and Aruruw). They're actually doing it RIGHT, granted, but I prefer Yesy's transliteration. Static-Subs is using the names as they appear in the original game, where most, if not all, of the names have an English spelling.

Yes, I've seen the names spelled like that. However, I'm with Triez on this one. XD Eruruw just seems weird! XD And after you've seen it spelled "Urutorii" for so long, Ultry/Ultrie looks strange, too. Oh, well.

Ok, so I just watched episode 15!
So Niwe is finally dead (good, too, I was getting oh-so-sick of his "kyeh-kheh-heh" laugh)! Though his death scene was a little nasty...But anyways, the more I watch this show, the more interesting it becomes! Just who/what is Hakuoro, anyways? And who's the new winged person, too? Anyways, Touka is about to become my favorite character; she's just so cool! Also, did Hakuoro ever figure out Eruruu's feelings for him? Because even after he told Eruruu that he thought of her more as a mother, she seems to be treating him more like a lover...or something.

After watching Static's version, I have to say that I think they do a good job. The subs are clear, and there's no unnecessary language (so far, at least). The only thing is the way they spell Eruruu's and Aruruu's names, since they kept all the other spellings the same (Karura and Hakuoro, at least). Anyways, I can't wait for episode 16!
Actually, the sub for episode 16 seems to be up already, but this time from some group called "Your Mom"...I've never heard of them, but this time, I think I'll wait for Yesy or Static_subs to catch up. XD;

Your Mom is a speed subbing group, if I recall. I'm pretty sure I've never cared for how they do things in the past, but since I've avoided them BECAUSE I have that thought, I'm not sure.

Did that make any sense?

Gaaah, I spoiled myself (a bit). This is from Wikipedia, which you must always take caution in believing when it comes to new anime.
Hakuoro and the angel dude are two halves of the great god Witsarnemitea. (Benawi mentioned this god in the first half of episode 8)
