Yes, they like it, but I can agree that Spike's hair and shoes look sort of dumb and cancel out any possible American-Made Live Action adaption.
Um.. Naruto mebbe? xD; I guess I'd recommend mainstream anime 'cause.. well, isn't part of the reason they're mainstream is 'cause lotsa people like 'em? xD
why? is it because of the content? or is it just not a very good anime in your opinion?

It may be because they were trying to handle alot of the stuff in the manga, but they spread it out too much and threw into too many of those "emotional" clips (though the manga does that now anyways).
And that style seems like the kind of anime style that would turn off people who aren't really into it.
I dunno. Just how I see it.
Sure, it's fun to see some animated action scenes, but even some of those can be broken up (but again, that's in most anime anyways now, it seems).
