aha! yes i am gonna start an art thread. fo my art. everyone else had one so i want one. and it is wut your suppose to do..according to the rules. hehe. it will be updated periodically, when i produce a piece of art that is noteworthy (by my standards).
so im gonna start it off with a pretty old pic. i know the legs are too long and the arms too short, and the shoes are mo messed up..but oh wells. comments please.

well i looks like ma art is so popular and ppl cant get enough of it soo..heres more! haha. 
well heres a kenshin fanart. and heres a note--i really need a scanner. i been taking pictures of my art with a digital camera and posting it...but thats not gonna werk now. sumtimes the flash on the digicam causes and gleam on sum of the pencil lines. and this is one of those cases. so ignore the silvery lines and everything will be alrite. and yes his rite hand is there...its just blurry and wak cause of the camera...erggg...

your works is good...really nice...(especially the picture of the girl) ^^ the body proportion is good, and the most important: your will to improve is great! to improve means that you must draw draw draw draw draw draw draw draw draw and draw all the time, then you'll see your improvement through the process...

ok heres the good. your porportions are good, and over all i think your perspetive is good too. the girl is my fav too i think the shadeing gives it depth.
what you might want to work on would have to be depth. i notice some of your pictures are kinda flat. shadeing will help this alot. you might also try useing a .5 automatic pencil for drawing, some of your pics look like you might be pressing down too hard and when you press down too hard you lose smoothness in your lines. a .5 lead will break easily and will be a chalenge at first but it really helped me learn to relax. it will also make your lines thiner.
personally i think your stuff is good youve got the eye you just need to keep practieing to get better control of the pencil

I agree with Shinja. I also have this to add: if you don't feel comfortable with a mechanical pencil, you might try using a lighter weight of lead. For a long time I used regular #2 pencil, but it really works better if you use something lighter, like a 2H, at least for me, that way mistakes are much easier to clean up. There used to be a tin available to buy and in it were varying grades of pencils. It was a good way to experiment and find out what lead was right for you.
Another thing I noticed, particularly in the ninja, was the tendency for them to look as if their arms are clamped to their sides. Maybe this stems from the shoulders not being wide enough, but the arms tend to stand away from the body. This is most difficult in little kids where there is no real shoulder width to deal with, and putting the arms a little more out has a tendency to make them look like they're just...sticking out...
Something that will help stance, in the case of the ninja, is to place the weight more on one leg and then place that foot directly under. I noticed there was a slight problem with slanting in the picture and it makes the "weight" seem a little uneven. I'll demonstrate this below with a vertical line. This shows that the left foot even passed this mark onto the other side...the weight would have been on the left foot if not for the fact that the toe was turned in the wrong direction. I'll show corrections to illustrate what I mean. In this case, I'm going to switch the weight to his right foot; it tends to work better if their weight is on the foot in the direction they're looking (if that makes sense; I can't think of a better way to explain it at the moment). I also added an extra red line to show how his heels hit the ground; unless there's something going on with perspective, most of the time these will be on the same level.
