Swords *yay!* I like just about anything sharp. *lol* But scimitars are awesome! I'm also a fan of throwing knives. ^^ And rapiers, and stilettos *as in knives, not shoes*, etc, etc....

I've never looked up the laws on swords, but for knives in Texas, it is something like this. No blades longer than about 3.5 inches, it cannot be double edged ( that includes if it is possible to sharpen the second side but you a haven't.), and you have to open it manually. Pressing a button, or spinning the knife handle doesn't count

Well this it's been a while since I've seen a thread like this. I like it 
. Anyways...if I had a favorite...It would fall under the lines of probably some kind of double-edged dagger or sword. My other fav would prolly have to be in FFX...whenever you have an ability like poison touch/strike, silence touch/strike etc...That sword just looks so cool. (Poison Steel is the name of it

Well, "I" (I have a charachter that is me, literally, in my story I'm writing) carry a pair of cane swords, sharpened down to a near atomic edge, one with a dragon head grip and mahogany wood cane with a very thin single edged blade and the other a cane made of ebony with silver flecking and a Onyx orb on the top (pommel), and this is double edged, rapier style blade. Both blades are made of a fictional metal, tho so they're extra strong. 
But..... both could be made using high quality spring steel, and still be feasable weapons, so thats why I like them.

The Dragon Slayer is awesome. As long as we are no longer talking about real swords, I also like Ashram's Soul Crusher from Record of Lodoss War. In fact, all of the swords in that series look cool.
