Anime Suggestions For Adult Swim

This is based on the Anime Unleashed forum's Anime Suggestions For
Anime Unleashed thread except that it's titles you would like to see on
Adult Swim.
So here goes:

Gasp. Scrapped Princess. I would love to see that on AS. Mainly because I haven't found the time to finish the series on youtube, and haven't got the money to buy it just yet. XD But yeah, I loved what I saw of that series, and I'd really like to see more!

Also, I think AS should show the sub of Sailor Moon.

2. AS wouldn't likely show Sailormoon (but they showed saved by the bell, so...)
3. Sailormoon seasons 1-2 are both in limbo... Isn't Toei losing the rights? Well, until Toei loses the rights, and ADV or someone else gets ahold of them again, we won't see those seasons, and I think ... Well, Toei's argument may apply to Pioneer or whoever owns S and SuperS. If Toei loses it, and someone better gets it, we may even get stars, but don't hold your breath...

So, no sailormoon on AS or anywhere else.

Except for their now-burried issues with ADV, I have never understood why Full Metal Panic hasn't been on Adult Swim. It would appear to be a good anime for the core audience(young men) while being appealing to women as well. And it's not too deep. Adult Swim does appear to be moving away from serious, mature anime with the exception of GITS:SAC. Which is why I don't think we'll ever see Ergo Proxy on there.

Full Metal Panic and Hellsing would work awesomely. The Flame of Recca anime would work far better on Toonami.

They did say at one point that they had planned on showing a new series subbed,but that doesn't seem to have gone anywhere.

Kim Manning said that idea was put on hold for now.


Better terms is, they still try it, but for now there is no plan for that to happen.

If G4 doesn't do anything about bringing Anime Unleashed back I think they ought to see about try getting R.O.D.The Tv,RahXephon,Last Exile,etc.once they become
avaible.I.e. Only if AU doesn't come back.

I never understand why ROD TV went to G4 when ROD OVA went to CN or the the other way around.


You have thought they would put both of them on the same network.

I agree,however R.O.D.The Tv was being shown on AU before AS aired the
Read or Die OVA as a movie.

As far as it goes I'm still hopeful that G4 will bring back AU one of these days,AS
needs the competition.

It's too old now, but I'd love to see a good long-running show like Fushigi Yugi get run on AS.

Also, this is totally wishful thinking and not anime, but I think a mature X-Men animated series on Adult Swim would be pretty cool. Kind of like that new Spider-Man that ran on MTV but with hand drawn animation. I think that'd be awesome.
