.hack//SIGN

Postby Keiya » Fri Jan 16, 2004 1:15 pm

Have anybody here notice how awesome the music is on some of the animes. That is somthing that really grabs me when Im watching one. the anime that really comes to mind is .hack//SIGN The game leaves alittle to be admired but the show has a great story line and AWESOME music. I sort of think it is alittle more for more mature audiences not because of content or anything but more because the story line is really complexed. If ya havnt seen it ya really should. Anybody else know any animes that stand out to them because of maybe a unique animation style or story or maybe even stay on the topic of music. Also I just wanted to show this cool picture of angel santuary, its off topic but ohh well. Lol.

I completely agree. .hack//SIGN is an excellent anime series with awesome music to match.

FLCL is another anime series with a very good soundtrack; most of the music for the series is older songs sung by "the pillows," whose voices sound similar to a Japanese version of The Beatles.

Yes, the music for .Hack//SIGN is great--one of my favorite soundtracks. Another that is very good and pretty unique is the music to The Vision of Escaflowne series. At times it sounds almost like a chant.

I love it as well. I also like the ending music on Big O, and Bebop, of course. :thumb:

The .hack//sign music is awesome! Good story line too. I also like alot of the music in Silent Mobius, Kenshin, and Cowboy Bebop.

If you like .hack music, check out the soundtrack to Noir; same composer (Yuki Kajiura)

Or better yet, just get her debut album which has music from both Noir and .hack

"Man creates dolls in his own image. If God exists, it's possible that we're all just dolls to him." - Evangelion (episode 22)

Hmm... I must be missing something... I can't stand the .hack//SIGN songs (The ones with lyrics; the instrumental music is cool). I also don't really like Cowboy Bebop's "Real Folk Blues"... _-_

I love .hack... I finally got my PS2, so I can play the games and watch Liminality. I like the first game, so far, except for the annoying camera... (the way it jumps all the time when you go in front of walls or something, the camera was NOT built well)

As for .hack//sign, realize it is only one part of a much bigger story that you must play the games, read the book, and watch the OVA's to understand... Sort of like the matrix, only with a better game.

Well that was random. :p

.hack// was one of my favorite franchises from the past two years. I was thrilled when I found out that it was coming here, because it really deserves all the attention that it's getting. I loved Twilight's Bracelet even more though, and I can't wait until the English version of the anime is released here. I just wish the games didn't feel so copied and pasted. Great storyline though, so that's why I keep playing them.

I used to stay up late Saturday nights to watch it, but the story was moving pretty slow so I quit watching it. I did love the music and the animation, though. I'd like to see some of the more interesting episodes. I think the ones I saw were only developing the character of Tsukasa, and it was mostly diologue and some flashbacks.

But that would have made it even better. ^_^

I was happy with Sanjuro though, I used him a lot in the games. Any fan of Kurosawa gets bonus points with me :p

I love .hack. I like Lady Subaru. I like the music during the show. I can not stand the opening theme. I just find it extremely annoying for some reason.
