Hey, I'll party with you SVD. I don't have a whole lot to do during the day, and I'm usually on 'till about Midnight (check the time of this post - I just got off). Add me and then blink to Saintmorning and we'll go annihilate some guys! And the same goes for ANYONE! I will party with you! My character's name is Minamo (spelled just like that). Only Felix and MSP have added me, so the rest of you guys need to add me, too.

The error is where the programmer took the game down for several hours. Some people could log on (I could) but most couldn't (about 75% of people couldn't log on...).

Also, I can't agree that ignoring your strength can help. I think Strength is fairly important for a melee character to have. I agree that Dex is better in the long run, but don't let your strenth sit at 15. Go at least to 25. Not right this second, but steadily. Dex and Sta are more important, but Str isn't to be ignored. This is, though, my opinion, and I've never played a Merc, so my word might not be important. But I've had to do a lot of physical with my assist, so I think str is somewhat important.

I believe as a Merc. Dexterity is the most important. More faster attacks and not missing is more important than missing 8 times then finally hitting for 500 damage.

I think these videos prove my point :thumb:

The first one, the guy ONLY leveled up his Dex

Woah o.o that all dex was sweet.

Ok thanks everdred, I logged back on and it's fine now.

Ok just so you know, I JUST made 2 new characters tonight and deleted my first one because I didn't like him. So now my 3 characters are:

1. Snapper (M) - Level 5 Vagrant (will probably be merc)

2. Fialianna (F) - Level 24 Assist

3. Kiv (F) - Level 7 Vagrant (will probably be mage)

That Invasion of Saintmorning was amazing. If I were higher leveled, I would have wanted to be in it. But there were a lot of enemies I had never seen before, so I'm not sure how well I'd have fared. The part with like, 100 Giant Demians was funny because you could hear all of them laughing.

Btw - was the *really* big guy that appeared about halfway through the video the final boss? He was the guy that was half robot and walked with four legs.

That would be the Clockwork. It's basically the ultimate boss. It kills lots.

I thought it might be Clockwork, but I couldn't remember if that was his name or not xD

Felix wrote: Hey, do any of you peeps know how to do the tree planting event? I had a bunch of seeds and a bucket and stuff, but I couldn't figure out how to do anything with them so I sold them :/

Basically the tree event works like this - you need 10 seeds of one type (the types are Conepine, Fir, Persimmons, Pear, and Pine in order from lowest level to highest), and one bucket. Then, go see the PuPang in town (located in the center of the east side of town in Flaris, or due north of the loadstar in Saintmorning; across the bridge and just before the long ramp that leads into the high part of town). Once you talk to PuPang, choose 'seed delivery', and then pick the type of seeds you want to use by clicking on the name. The Bucket and the seeds will be replaced with a sapling, which you simply use anywhere. It disappears and gives you another item. I personally haven't gotten anything amazing from the tree festival yet, and after turning in 16 or so buckets, I'm kind of frustrated. All I have gotten are some Burst Rockets, Wing of Angels, and some refreshers and Vitaldrinks. Weak.

And as much as I hate to say it, I have to withdraw my offer to help level people. I tried to help SVD today, and he got no experience, no matter where we fought (we fought level ranges from 20 - 38). If you're close to my level, maybe around 28 or higher, then I can help you. I think if you're much lower, you won't get exp either.

EDIT: Today's fun fact - If you can fly, fly to Darkon! Somebody showed me this today, and It's pretty cool. People do mobs (AoE) on Darkon quite often, and since they're so high level, they often leave *all* of their food, money, and Refreshers! (To get to Darkon I recommend flying - Go past the Peakyturtles in Flaris). All the food recovers appx. 400 hp (or higher) and the refreshers are Seventh Refreshers, which recover 175 mp. Plus, the cash is about 80 penya per bag, so it's not a bad pickup either (since there's usually at least 15 in a mob). I just felt as though if you didn't know this, you should!

More than that, actually. I was level 38 then (a 23 level difference), and I'm 39 as of today. But it's such a PAIN to level up now... my armor is reaching its limits, so I can't mob a whole lot of monsters like I could before.

If anyone has pd4s to sell, sell them to me! I need them! I gotta upgrade my Sayram set to +3 so it'll do me more good.

And I officially hate the tree event. The programmer seriously deserves to die for this. Seriously. The Buckets and Seeds have thrown off the drop rates for rare items and now, when I *could* be getting a power dice or the last piece I need for my level 45 set, I get a Pear seed, or a Bucket. Ripoff. *Is very frustrated*

Halfway to 45 xD

If anyone wants some powerleveling, ask me tomorrow or the day after. That's going to be the best time. And I totally don't mind powerleveling anyone! But you have to be at *most* 19 levels lower than me (26).

DO any of you guys ever get online anymore? I don't see you at all, msp. I see Felix every once in awhile, but I never see you msp. You should get online more often!

I understand how that is. If this had been the same time *last year*, I'd probably only be on on weekends, too.

Just to add, I found these and if you guys *don't* know about them, you want to. Trust me.

Ring Quest (must be 23): Get this from talking to the magic vendor in Saintmorning. When you speak to him, click 'Recent' and accept the quest. The quest is to collect 50 auto-pickup items from Boss Bangs (auto-pickup means when you kill the enemy you automatically have them or you don't). This quest is sort of a pain, but it's worth it. I haven't done this quest with either Merc or Acro, but I know that Assist gets a STA+1 ring and mages get a INT+1 ring. Safe bet that Merc gets a STR+1 ring and that Acro gets a DEX+1.

The Plug quest (if you don't do this I'll slap you. Seriously Must be level 43): If you don't know what a plug is, I'll explain in a little bit. This quest is started by talking to Ann (I think that's her name), who is north of the Loadstar in Saintmorning. She asks you to go to Death Island and to get 10 BearerHearts from normal Tombstone Bearers. Do that, and return to her and she asks you to go to Jeanna (not sure on the name) who is east of the loadstar in SM. She asks you for a BoneBowl, which you can get from Kimberly (who is near the armory in SM). However, Kimberly won't give you the Bonebowl unless you have the beauty coupon from a quest in Flaris (get this item by doing a quest for the Beauty shop woman in Flaris; she's just next to the Flaris Loadstar). Once you have the BoneBowl, go talk to Jeanne again, and she'll tell you to see Marche, the magic vendor in Flaris. Go see Marche, and she'll give you LiveTea. Take that to see Ann agian, and she'll reward you with a plug.

Anyway, as promised, a description of a plug. A plug is an earring accessory. It adds 60 to your defense rate. Not in the normal way, though. Normal equipment has a value that looks like this - 55~60 - which is very different. This number adds a small amount to your defense rate (number in the status window). The plug adds 60 *directly to your defense* which is insanely broken. And, if you don't want your plug, go sell it to somebody for 9mil. Seriously. 9mil. You have absolutely no reason not to do this quest.

Hmm.... you might want to click 'Options' and look at the screen resolution drop menu. Set the screen resolution as close to yours as you can.

If that doesn't work... then you might have to uninstall it and reinstall it. One of my friends had to do that.

Assist, eh? Add me, Cap'n Nick! I'm always looking for another assist to party up with (because two assists is the best combination IMO xD ). Of course, you might want to wait until you're level 28. Otherwise, you won't get exp! My characters are listed in my signature, so add me!!
