I add Bobobobo i don't get it. maybe its just way to random and stupid for me. I like things with plot

Heh guess you wouldn't like stuff like Di Gi Charat then... sure each individual ep has a plot, but.... not exactly the most serious one^^ In a sense Azumanga is just as random... (recall the dream ep for sure :/)

i haven't seen Azumanga yet but yes it is random but it is actually random stuff that is funny

MSP, you must be a very cynical person. To like Miyazaki, you have to have the heart and wonderment of a child.
As for me, I don't understand why people like Gainax's perverted stuff that passes for anime.

It passes for anime because it is anime. All that's required for something to qualify as anime is for it to be animation made in Japan*, which Gainax's works clearly are.

I have no interest in arguing about the subjective merit or lack thereof of Gainax products, but I must point that out.

*And that's not even considering the entire "Amerime/Amerimanga" issue.

Dictionary.com, definition 3:

Something that amuses, pleases, or diverts, especially a performance or show.

Since Gainax's anime amuses, pleases, or diverts, it is therefore entertainment by definition.

Sorry, but if you're gonna insult something, the fans of it are gonna split hairs.

and those are just the ones I've watched. They've been around for quite a while. I think they started in the early 90's.

oh ok thanks. Yes i agree some of it is Perverted like Abenobashi in my oppion was totally perverted. But i likes NGE from what i saw so i won't say they are all bad.

I'm not saying I don't like Miyazaki. I'm saying his movies are completely overrated. I enjoyed spirited away and howls moving castle. But both had major flaws. And don't deserve a 10/10
