I think Yuki and Tohru should get together and Kyo and Kagura should get together. It's not even because I like Yuki better, it's because I think Kyo x Kagura make a better couple.
I haven't watched the anime, but I have read some of the manga. I think this is one of the funniest and cutest series I have ever read!

Well I have a lot of favorite characters! @_@
Hana (funny! and an awesome friend ^^), Tohru (she's just really cute ya know? I used to hate her but I've really warmed up to her now), Kyou (-drool- I love him for so many different reasons! He can be so cute, but really cool. I also can't help but wanna give him a hug!), Momiji (my adoptive little brother!), Kisa (little sister!! so cuuuteee!), and Hiro (I am the ram afterall you know, lol, and he's been maturing so much lately [I'm up to ch. 108].)
So yeah! My favorite couple of all is defiently Kyohru ^^

I'm new here, so couldn't get to this thread till now (wish someone had told me about this site years ago, I love it) Wanted to announce I love FB! Never seen a single episode of the anime, but caught up to date on the manga (though I only own the first 5 money's tight for now) I had a couple questions and figured this would be the best place to ask them, first off some of you mentioned other people for yuki, do you just mean his fans, or is there actually another girl he likes? And second do the zodiac members have to be born in their year (this was my original understanding but Kisa is like 12 in the series, which would put her as being born in 86. but momiji is 15, putting him at closer to 84, and yuki and tohru are the same age despite tohru being of the year of the dog)

Fav chars are Shigure (because I hate to admit it, but I kinda act like him) and Hanajima.
I'm born in 87, but before chinese new year, so i'm Tiger (KISA IS SOOO COOL!)

Well that's all for now, except, why does it seem like Hanajima will be alone? Uotani has that thing for, that one guy who visits her store of course, but also kinda has a thing for kyo, but Hanajima is all alone

I'm a new Furuba fan really. lol I've been keeping up with the manga, and I've been working my way through the anime. I just finished the 14th manga, I don't think I can wait until December for #15! Yuki isn't really my favorite character, but he is pretty cool. I love Kyo and Haru though, they're awesome! ^^

We just finished watching the anime this week, and my kids and I all loved it! There isn't really a character that I don't like- even Akito deserves some sympathy I think! (some!)

If I had to pick a fave though it would be Ayame. I know lots of people found his character annoying, but he reminds me so strongly of a good friend of mine in high school that I just have to love him! It's been years since I've talked to my friend, so seeing Ayame is kind of like seeing him again since they both act and talk the same!

I really like Shigure too, because he just looks SO VERY GOOD in a suit! And while signigicantly younger than me, at least he's 'legal'! And he's a writer to boot! What's not to like?

Even as an adult, I found Tohru's character really inspiring. She is so selfless in her devotion to her new 'family' and she serves them without ever complaining or grumbling. I wish I was more like her!

I've just started to read the manga, and I'm enjoying the differences that make it a whole new experience!
BTW, where is that hidden blooper track on disc one???

Yep. On disk one, go to the "Extras" menu. (The one with Kyo on it) then type in the number 10. On some DVD players, press the "10+" button, then press "0".

If you done it right, you'll see a picture of Tohru holding a transformed Yuki, Shigure and Kyo, while listening to an outtakes real. It's hillarious!

I like Kyo, and Kisa. Hatori is a bit of a tragic character but I like him.

I'm about 20 episodes into th series and it is amazing. Especially Kyo (I have a bag patch of him! (=^.^=) )

Since Furuba is one anime series I've completed watching as a whole, I might as well put in my two cents and answer some questions to the best of my capability.

I found both the anime and manga excellent and entertaining in their own ways. IMO, funny scenes are experienced better when animated while the manga provides more indepth into the lives of the characters.


**Most Memorable Scene**
Shizuru: Ayameeeee! [or whatever he calls Ayame]
Ayame: Shizuruuuuu! [or whatever he calls Shizuru]
*two reaching out to each other....drawn like puppets, sparkles all over, dramatic anthem playing in the background*

Wahahaha, those jokers. I cannot dislike Ayame nor Shigure. Furuba cannot be what it is without these two characters.



**Fav. Pairings**
1) I generally prefer Kyo x Tohru and hope the manga will validated this pairing eventually. The latest manga chapters in Japan were promising to one point.

2) Another couple I support would be
[spoiler] Haru x Rin ~ Even if they didn't do things the right way, I can't help rooting for both of them[/spoiler]

[spoiler] From what I understand from some latest manga chapters, there's a female classmate that seem to have connected with Yuki. She acts rather quiet, reclusive and strange in her own way but Yuki seems to be opening her heart. I don't know whether anything will come out from this but it's really nice to see Yuki getting out from "only Tohru is the best" mode." [/spoiler]

Egad, I never thought about this but that is highly plausible. That would explain the age differences among the members.

Eh, that's something I can't answer for except for the mangaka herself. Last I recall, I do not remember any hints of her being paired with anyone. But then again, is there a need for it? She's cool on her own in a way.
