Ok, I joined 2-2 as Chaddog. I'm gonna add the rest of you on my buddy list. I love this game. It's the best free MMORPG I've seen yet. And I've played quite a few.

Just a quick question about that - are the pd's random drops amongst all enemies, or are they specific to certain enemies? I remember what I killed when I got it, and if that's who drops it, I'll keep killing them ^_^ (It was a Demian, btw)

and felix, I think they are able to boost your armor and stuff. But there's a risk in doing so. as you can accidentally destroy your armor.

GWAH! i downloaded it today... but like there is some sort of error in the program... it says that there is a "generic application error" then it says "switching to the reference rasterizer, a software device that implements the entire Direct3D feature set, but runs very slowly."

I can get the thing to run... but when they say "very slowly" that aint no lie! its like... beyond slow... I move a cm every minute...

HELP!

I have to agree with MSP. It's either that you need Direct X 9, or your graphics card stinks, at least that's what I think.

Anyway, just a quick update. I'm now a lvl 20 assist and I'm working on leveling up my skills so I can get resurrect and some other stuff. You know, it's really easy to make friends as an assist.

I'm almost at 14. But I'm having a hard time finding equipment. All my equipment seems sorta weak. I don't have anything with a level requirement higher than 10. Anybody know of some places where a vagrant can get some stuff?

I finally have made the leap to Acrobat! I feel special now. Sorta... non-n00b kind of.

gpotato is essentially where you pay real cash for special items. Like sunglasses or catears

a PD10 would be around... 80k-10k. Perhaps try 70K. Always try selling it to the highest. And advertise like youre on the infomercial

Level 20 Yoyo Acrobat, but my stats are a little off because I didn't understand what I was doing at first. In 5 or so levels, I should be balanced back out, though.

Also made another character (I got frustrated with my acrobat for awhile), a level 16 Assist. If anyone wants to add this character to your friends list, the name is Minamo.

I'm all FlyFF'ed out for now. I'm gonna go and play some HL2 for a bit.

Current Status: level 28 (instead of growing char levels, I've been focusing on levelling up my defensive skills. it helps. ^_^)

Well, I screwed up on the Acrobat a little, and I got fed up quick. When I said I'd be balanced out in 5 levels, I was *WAY* wrong. Try, like, 10. I think I'd have to party up to level up effectively. So I made another character (*really* not as bad as you might think. It's actually easier the second time around), which is working out pretty well. It's gonna be tough until level 18 (cuz I got no buffs ), but I'm working on it. I know CAA probably has 2 or 3 Assists already, but I like the hybrid build they had up on the forums, so I'm going with that. And by hybrid, I mean when you get points at level up, you spend them based on your performance during the previous level. Like, if your damage is low, beef your strength a little. If you can't take a hit, add Sta, etc.

In the order as they go on the screen; 30 25 30 15
Dex should probably be 5-10 lower for a yoyo acrobat, since they don't need Dex as bad as they do str and sta. That's the major difference between bow and yoyo - yoyo needs str and sta, bow needs dex and int. I just didn't know 'till it was too late. Plus, my acrobat is broke now But my other chara has some cash, so I think I might work with her for awhile.

I don't have a mage, but from what I understand, your spells only use MP and you can use things called "refreshers" to get back MP or just rest. You don't use anything else except your staff of course.

I partied up my assist with a mage yesterday (Spam healing is fun!) and the two seem to work very similarly. You put the spell to a shortcut key and press it. The spell gets cast, and the character does a little motion and that's it. The spells cost MP, which you can recover by A) standing still, running (without fighting) and sitting down or B) by using refreshers, which you can buy at any [General] store.
